Ahhh, you make me miss my blonde color! I bleached the heck out of my 3 yr locs 😂. I cut them off last Aug because my locs were so thick but ended up thin. My biggest mistake is not rinsing the bleach out completely and re-bleaching the same locs over and over again instead of just doing the roots (which I know better as a cosmetology student). My locs didn’t thin out at once but over those 3 years. So make sure to use a neutralizing shampoo and rinse, rinse, rinse, and then rinse some more. But I now have 2week old starter locs that I claim I won’t bleach again…but Chile, I already know that’s a lie lol. Bleaching locs is safe if people follow the tips I sugggest. And mositurize, use deep treatments and conditioner.

Yea bleaching can definitely cause damage but you’re right as long as your taking care of them you should be good. but i don’t think i’ll be bleaching them anymore tbhh

I use the rose water but castor oil makes my scalp itch so bad-your locs are gorgeous love the color

Ash blonde is the color that I want to dye my locs … I’m almost 3 years in .. before I started my locs journey, I got my hair dye honey blonde … it’s grown out … but I’m terrified of bleaching again , even though it’s been almost 3 years

yea i would definitely take precautions and think hard before bleaching because can cause damage. I personally haven’t experienced anything crazy but everyone’s experiences are different! if it’s something you wanna try i say go for it 🤍
