One of the best videos out there on 12 V. Thank you very much for taking time and sharing your experience so that others can choose their suitable set up.

Hey guys just a bit of advice but i recommend looking into a lot more usb chargers that run off 12v. You can even get 100w USB-PD 12v chargers too that will charge your laptops directly from 12v if you're using a modern usb c laptop. It's very ineficient to run an inverter just to run 240v wall socket usb chargers or plugging in usbs into the inverter directly aswell. With your large battery bank you should be fine either way but doesn't hurt to use less power to do the same thing.

Yeah mate definitely a work in progress ! With a possible new 4x4 build next year we are keen to spend as little as possible between here and then on this rig but completely agree with you :)

Great vid! Do you have a link to that solar panel on the darche? How did you mount it so it sat under the roof rails? You guys inspired me for my setup.

You can parrallel connect different size batteries. I do it at times when when i want to increase amp hours or amperage. Lithium batteries will only charge and discharge based on the capacity of the battery. If you need say 10 amps 75 ah battery will draw 7.5 a 15 ah battery will draw 1 5a For a total of 10 amps
