3 Wildest AK Versions for Russian Spetsnaz Almost No One Knows About
The shortened version of the Kalashnikov AKS-74U rifle is the second (!) most popular weapon of the AK series, which is known to everyone who loves guns. But in this issue we will not talk about it: today we will talk about three of the wildest rifles, which are made on the basis of the short AKS-74U. Each of them was made in the Russian Federation for the Special Forces, and so - for many years they were kept secret. That's why almost nobody knows about them!

Did not know about a Bizon in 7.62 Tokarev. That’s crazy

Actually makes a lot of sense for it to be chambered in that I feel like, good round for a submachine gun, extremely plentiful, both versions are so awesome though.

I am 100% sure your channel will explode in popularity when a few more people catch wind, the combination of high quality footage and information about obscure Soviet/Eastern weapons is really great, I am excited to watch you grow and get the views you deserve.

Think Kalashnikov factory made Fire extinguisher out of AK-103 and honestly that to me would be the strangiest AK variant. Didn't know about 9x30 mm through good video.

I suppose the uniformity of the manual of arms is priority.
Yes! Yes! More of this Another awesome video! Thanks for making these
Love this channel! And look forward watching it grow.
Another great video! I remember reading about Gepard in History of Soviet Arms book I had when I was younger. Still looking forward to the 9x39mm and rifle series project video!
7.62x25 Tokarev is DEF one of the most underrated SMG/Pistol rounds in existence... -I REALLY WISH more American pistol/firearms makers would take more interest in this cool little cartridge... (Im soon to turn/re-chamber ream a new barrel for one of my 40 S&W cal pistols into a 357 SIG w/simple barrel & spring swap) -357 SIG is 9x22, a 9mm bullet seated within a bottle-necked 10mm/40 cal brass case. The closest commercially available cartridge we have to a 7.62 TOK- Standard 357 SIG velocities, for instance, a 'Grizzly Corp' 90 grain JHP pushing 1,900 FPS, a standard 357 SIG 124 grain FMJ projectile usually doing 1400/1450 FPS outtve a 4-1/2 inch pistol barrel.... A 7.62 TOK, 85 grain projectile fired outtve any common 4-3/4 inch PISTOL barrel doing 1,650+ FPS/Feet per second is NOTHING to turn ones nose up at for certain! -You'd see even more >>Rapid>> velocity gains outtve a 10" barreled SMG, theres a few ammo manufacturing outfits here in the states that produce specialty -75-80-85-90 grain 7.62 TOK cartridges with faster burning specialty propellants/gun powders, where even faster velocities can be achieved outtve common 5" barreled Semi-Auto pistols, getting close to the 1,800-2,000 FPS velocities!... Just simply INSANE really! GREAT vid, thanks for sharing!...;)
Wow, you really got some very interesting prototype AKs in here! Would love to see more of these unique weapons.
Really appreciate these videos thank you
I'd love for you to do some videos on some more obscure weapon variants and such. Guns like the OTS-126, the PP-2000, the SHaK-12, the ASH-12, I could go on. Love these videos.
Love this channel, always novel info I never knew about Soviet / Russian arms
At this rate Casper is probably going to cover the Strange and interesting Guns from Korobov. I can’t wait to see an episode on that

Perhaps I would touch on this topic in the future, but for now it is too complicated a topic. And it's not even about the availability of information, it's all right. The problem is visualization. We have practically no good personnel with these weapons at our disposal. However, in the future I plan to get access to these samples, and generally start shooting my own footages for commercials. And then there will be no stopping us!

My sources are what can be called OSINT, although this is too pretentious) Most often I rely on data from sources in Russian. Websites, closed groups, forums, open reports and articles. But the most important thing is that I love military subjects, I know the history and many nuances of the Eastern Bloc weapons well (knowing Russian helps a lot). In fact, I am very surprised that there is so little information about Eastern Bloc weapons in the English-speaking KZread sector (although there has been a lot of fashion for it in the last 7 years). The reason for this lies in the language barrier. Data in Russia is very scattered, many pieces of information are lost, so it is very difficult to collect them (and even more so, to submit a good video sequence)
The Gepard looks like a neat little subgun. Shame more videogames dont use it.
Awesome video! Keep doing more of these Soviet era Weapons. Or Russian GunSmithing... How about a video on the AK platform , Then and now ! 👍
That line up of 9mm variants is cool
Nice video! Now I have to build a Gepard lol
The Gepard sure was interesting. Shame they didn't develop it further

I need all of them
the green border guard ak’s have always been a dream buy for me
Oh its the underwater assault rifle from DELTA Force 2
I need the grom version in ready or not
That 9x30mm "grom" looks like the shorter, Russian cousin of the .30 carbine cartridge, which is 7.62x *33* mm
Tokarev is the most underrated round of all time.

The English-language designations in our divisions are one of the coolest things that appeared in the 90s. Many people think that we have always been against the West. Damn it, there were a lot of bad things in the 90s, but it's just fascinating and gives you the understanding that we can be friends and cooperate
Imo every smg should have pistol grip magazines. Keeps it compact and all smg rounds arent that big. Once you cant grip around a magazine, you put the magwell somewhere else and make it a rifle.
7.62x25 is not called the boomer 5.7 for nothing.

The problem with the Gepard, as I understand it, was that it was too big for a submachine gun. The same Veresk, Kashtan or 9A-91 were more compact
4:28 The scope mount has literally knocked itself loose from the underwater recoil ( I’m guessing) I hope that’s it. Otherwise Russian spetsnaz or fsb literally don’t know how to make sure their scope rail adapter is tight 😂😂😂***PLEASE READ**** shit cracked me up

Hi there, you should really credit the people who's footage you're using. For example, at 6:25 you're using footage from Oxide, specifically the video "TSSN FSB - Modern Russian FSB loadout (Fragsuit Version)

Yes, it's true. I'm going to do this and insert it in the description of all the videos. Now I'm trying to find time to work out the structure of the description. I really want everything to look neat and beautiful, most likely this is such a package of perfectionism. But as soon as I finish this part of the work, I will definitely insert both Oxide and many other cool guys into my description!)

@casperarms

I'll surprise You, they even created an underwater machine gun! You can find it by the name AG-026, caliber 5.66 mm)

Russia was one of the countries that gained independence from the communist regime. I understand that you think that Russia arranged all this and enslaved the rest of the countries. Actually, no, Russia was not the main source of Communists. We know how many Russian soldiers fought against the Communists, no less than people from other occupied countries. Their number is approximately equal if we take a proportional calculation based on the number of the population. In Moscow and other Russian cities, the marches of citizens against the Communists were very large-scale, often much larger than in other republics. It is hard to imagine today, but Russian people came out with "Hands off Lithuania" posters when the Communists tried to suppress people's protests in Lithuania
