I have explanations for each one: 1. You can actually change the directions of the Bullet Bills/Banzai Bills(in 3D World) 2. Peach most likely wanted to see Mario finish the training course and didn’t know it would take him all night 3. There’s a possibility that time in the real world doesn’t pass by when Mario and Luigi were in the Mushroom Kingdom, so when they returned, it was like they never left

I feel like time flows differently in the mushroom kingdom and Brooklyn because in Brooklyn it was normal days and Mario and Luigi spend like a week in Brooklyn so I think time flows differently in these two dimensions

For me, the reason she waited for him on the balcony was that she was half expecting him to quit. This was a trial by fire, and if you couldn't complete it, what use would you have been to her? But Mario just wouldn't quit. He kept going. He rose to the occasion. That is what impressed Peach. He was dedicated enough to keep going in the face of the task and to learn the rules of the new world he found himself in. Even if he didn't exactly complete the course, she had seen enough to know it was his determination that would aid them.

Actually, in Italian families they don’t really mind if their children run off, as long as they are 12 or older or if one is 12 or older. After they return they ask: “what happend?” Just to make sure if they did something appropriate and leagal

Peach showed interest in Mario the moment they met. Hes the first human she interacts with since she was a child so nah it makes sense

Peach was done in that way to show she's not just a princess to be saved. They gave her a little bit of a more modernized twist where she wasn't simply the damsel in distress like in the games.

I’m pretty sure Peach is eager to see Mario to finish the challenge with her own two eyes so badly that she just sleep in accident. And i supposed that she could’ve just ordered some guard Toads to keep an eye on Mario as she goes back to her bed and inform her when Mario finally nailed the challenge.

The family didn’t take much notice which is noteworthy. But Peach was likely just looking out for Mario and keeping him company. As for the Banzai Bill, while it did legitimately freak me out to see it emoting with its eyes (although that Spin Attack did make it personal), the Tanuki Suit’s tail attack is actually capable of redirecting Banzai Bills in 3D World, so it’s actually quite believable.

A week? Dude, it was four days. Night 1: Mario trained. Night 2: Fire Flower field. Night 3: Rainbow Road.

To be fair, we don’t see Mario and Luigi’s parents again until after they saw them in the street fighting Bowser.

Mario and Luigi are grown men, the family probably thought they were offered an overnight job throughout the week or something.

Number 3 probably has a pretty simple explanation as to why Mario and Luigi’s family never seemed to notice the fact that they were gone. The Mushroom Kingdom could be like that planet in Interstellar, where time goes by differently over there compared to Earth. One day on Earth could equal however long Mario was at the Mushroom Kingdom for.

What if time moves faster in the Mushroom world than in the human world? Like one week in the mushroom world would just be like a couple of hours in the human world. (Incase you already noticed or havent, I got his idea from monsters inc lmao)

The family not caring is definitely strange. I first thought maybe time works differently in the Mushroom Kingdom and they were gone for only a couple of hours but they cleaned up the water problem so some time must have passed.

Banzai bills, as well as bullet bills, actually are sentient. The RPG games actually depict some of them as being able to walk, and in Mario Party Advance, they even speak.

And so on. But no, they just say "you saved us". Saved from what exactly?

For number 3: Mario & Luigi went to the site late at night. When they returned to Brooklyn, dawn was approaching. Time moves differently in the mushroom kingdom world than out here, so they likely spent a few hours there in our time.

(1) Well everything from the dark lands is alive even dead koopas and other bombs, besides, the bomberbill is a missile not a bullet (2) Princess Peach fell asleep on the balcony, she didn't decide to sleep there and besides, how would she know if Mario did finish the training if she was sleeping 😴 on her bed in her room. (3) Time might work differently in the mushroom kingdom.

For the 3rd one, it was only a day. They left one night, were back the next day by dawn

You see, Mario and Luigi's parents must have family dinner rarely, mainly because Mario and Luigi owns their own plumbing service, therefore, they would think that Mario and Luigi were just doing stuff to boost the reputation of their business.

Maybe Mario and Luigi leave home for days at a time quite frequently.

Peach didn’t want to give up on Mario. That’s why she stayed all night. She wanted to see him succeed.

Peach slept to watch Mario because she's not a typical princess. Also she believed that Mario would persevere so she was there to support him!

1. There are actually examples of Bullet Bills being able to interact or have dialog in the video game world. Not to mention being able to control where they fly or levitate. 2. Peach invested her time in Mario's attempts to finish the course, just fell asleep when it was actually taking too long. 3. Time is probably different between worlds.

1. The Bullet Bills and Banzai Bills (Bomber Bills) have real eyes instead of them being painted on, so of course it would hurt. And they have a degree of sentience like Bob-Ombs and Chain Chomps too. 2. Peach wanted to see Mario's training through, but didn't realize it would take all night and wound up falling asleep. Some people wind up falling asleep at desks or against a wall if tired enough too. 3. Mario and Luigi were only gone for 3 days, enough for the water to drain from the flood. And their family might have gotten worried if it was past 3 days, cause they came back on the 4th morning.

Someone already explained the bomber bill in the comment section, but i’ll add to their explanation: In some games yes the bullet bills/banzai bills do move with no emotion like inanimate objects. But in mario odyssey, mario galaxy, and mario odyssey, the bullet bills can lock on to mario (mario galaxy and mario odyssey) as well as moving their hands while flying. So yeah there’s an extra explanation :p

My explanations: 1. Ofc you can change directions, the bullet can go more than just a straight line. 2. Like everyone else thinks, princess peach just wanted to see if Mario finished the course. She wouldn’t have the chance to see him complete it 3. It’s either the family thought Mario and Luigi have a lot of business to do or time stops.

1) you can change the direction of the banzai bills ... and in addition we can see that the bullet bills are alive because they move their arms and king bill moves the eyes, so surely the banzai bills can interact. 2) Peach wanted to see Mario win and congratulate him . 3) Mario and Luigi are grown up humans, I don't think it's a problem that they left the house ... and then what tells you that they didn't worry? We only see them again at the end of the film And they were happy to see their children again so they probably worried and worries disappeared when they saw them again.

Princess Peach is a tough cookie though. She's been tough since the cartoon, so i don't imagine sleeping on a balcony would bother her much. 😅

Mario and Luigi only disappeared for a day though, and it was at night so they probably didn’t even know they left to fix the pipes underground, as well as assumed they left that morning for a plumbers gig

For 2, it makes sense if Peach just waited there and just accidentally fell asleep waiting so long to be there instead of giving up and going back to the castle for the night And for 3, I mean yeah having their 2 sons gone for a week would be upsetting for them and they reasonably would have, but they themselves can't really do much after a week and they gotta enjoy dinner too

-Bulletin bills are alive. In Mario Odessy, 3D World, and almost all 3D games, the bullet bills follow you in the game till they explode or hit you Also it bullet bill not number bill. -peach is kind and is not a “normal princess” and is not a blood princess and is used to struggle. -Also we did not see any scenes of Mario’s parents while Mario and Luigi were missing. When they returned and came home they hugged each of them showing that they missed them

1. Bullet and banzai bills have both been seen as enemys and not just inanimate objects due to them being able to have cat power ups in Super Mario 3D World and have shown to react by a tanooki tail before in 3D World. 2. It is very likely that Peach just fell asleep watching Mario, showing how long it took him to finish the course. 3.The whole family considered Mario and Luigi to be a joke, plus, the brothers are both adults so the family probably just assumed that they were put doing something and didn't care.

The parents could’ve thought that they were on a very difficult job, such as, *repairing the city water system* and most likely thought that the mayor was giving them something to sleep in, such as a sleeping bag. (Correct me if I am wrong because I am not a plumber and do not know everything about Brooklyn plumbing)

I actually only understand the last one because Mario and Luigi were missing for a really long time. However, bullet bill got hit in the eye by Mario’s raccoon tail. Even though the physics seems over the top, I can still see how it can react to Mario’s attack. Finally, I think Peach fell asleep on the balcony on accident. You know when you do something or watch something for so long that your mind would just get bored or feel sleepy and then shut down, and you sleep where you left off? Sure, it’s not comfortable sleeping on the balcony like that, but she had been waiting for Mario to finish the training course.

Bullet Bill reaction to Mario's tanuki suit's tail was a something that took me off guard but at the same time made a lot of things in Mario games make sense, sense there are Mario games where Bullet Bill can follow you and there are Mario RPG games where you fight Bullet Bills as other enemie mods. just saying, Nintendo did a fantastic job in allowing this to happen at the end of the movie.

On number 2 peach didn’t go to sleep on purpose she FELL ASLEEP while waiting for Mario

1. It's possible to change the direction of the bullet bills in some game I think 2. Peach probably wanted to see Mario complete it and fell asleep without knowing it would take him a whole day and night 3. Either time might be different in the Mushroom Kingdom or their parents just thought Mario was hiding in his bedroom because of that night when Mario got upset and they might have thought Luigi was at work because of their business?

Third one: Mario and Luigi are probably adults at this point, maybe they have their own homes. I know they have a room at their parents’ house, but maybe they occasionally would stay there

Actually I think there is a time difference between Brooklyn and the Mushroom Kingdom. You’ll notice in the movie that Mario and Luigi leave at night. And when they return at the climax, it’s just then dawn even though they’ve been in the Mushroom Kingdom for 2-3 days. It’s sort of like Narnia in terms of time differences between worlds. BUT HEY, THAT’S JUST A THEORY… A GAME THEORY! (I can say that since it’s Mario).

I think Peach accidentally fell asleep.

The third one is easily explainable with time working differently in the Mushroom Kingdom, while in Mario and Luigi could have easily passed only few hours. Peach on the other hand had to stay on the balcony to make sure Mario completed his training without cheating.

I feel like the 3rd one might make sense that the family got their memories erased when Mario and Luigi went into the Mushroom Kingdom until they returned to New York.

Ok, so. Bullet Bills and Bomber/Banzai Bills actually do have sentence, pretty much like all objects that have eyes in the Mushroom kingdom. It’s been a staple since the first game. Peach staying on the balcony is most likely because she wanted to see mario succeed, which is pretty sweet when u think about it. And for their parents worrying about them, 1: they’re adults so they can go out and stay where they like, their parents probably thought they both went to a friends house, 2: time probably works differently between both worlds. Maybe a week in the mushroom kingdom is a day in the real world. You ever think about that smart guy?

In past episodes, time went by differently, including a gag where after a grand adventure, it was such a short time to pass by the other person asked when Mario was going to leave, despite having just returned.

1. There are literally Bull’s Eye Bills that can follow you around, so that was probably one of those. I know they’re red in games, but the movie obviously wasn’t 100% faithful to the games. 2. Peach didn’t choose to fall asleep there, she simply passed out. 3. Days are probably very short in the Mushroom Kingdom

Maybe time works differently in the Mushroom Kingdom. That would explain why the parents weren’t worried.
