Just look at the side edge of the card- the real cards have a black line! Also you can see through some fakes by holding up to a light!

I made a short for the light method awhile back!

I can use a flashlight and point it towards the card if the light passes through the card, then its fake but if u flash a flashlight toward the real one, it wont show any light from the flashlight (u might see a some light passing through but compared to the fake one there is more light that passed through the fake one than the real one)

It doesn't matter if I have fake ones or real ones I'm just happy with my cards

How to spot fake Pokemon cards:- Point 1:- See the packaging of the pack if the packet is tightly packed then it's not a fake generally fake packs are loosely packed... Point 2:- Fake packs never contains a code card. Point 3:- the light method...using a flashlight of mobile if the flashlight penetrates through the card then it's fake..if not then it's real Point 4:- Fake cards are always upside down as shown in this video.. And the last point of all using the ripping method if the card contains a black line then it's real...if not then it's totally fake...

I remember as a kid Pokémon cards had purple backgrounds with the pokeball

You can just look in between the card and if it’s a little bit of black in the middle, it’s real if not, it’s fake! lol don’t rip it

if the fake card has the same image and words, i can still use them in a game. so how fake is it? lol

Actually in some parts of Asia such as India,china and more,cards are printed with no ink in it and holo's don't have texture.For Asia specifically these cards are not fake.

you forgot 1. paper quality 2. transparency when shining a light through it, real ones dont shine through as easily. 3. print quality. fake ones tend to be blurry or shifted.

They have only made 4 gold metal card so far. Celebration zard, celebration pikachu, 151 mew ex, and arceus VSTAR. Everything else that is metal are fake
