Tysm! I needed some deleted photos for a Personal Rewind. Backstory: I switched phones in May this year, and when I switched to the new one, it only had data from April 2020. Anything after that was not on that phone. And plus, I deleted some photos that turns out that I needed for it.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that I have to have a Mac in order to use the software that you were showing, since it said for windows version. I tried the I cloud recovery thinking that I might have used in the past. No luck there either. Both the best video ever and most heart breaking. I did use the Disk Drill, and somehow, someway, it was able to recover videos from YEARS ago that I hardly recognized, but stuff from two weeks ago was nowhere to be found. So, while it did not work for me, I did want to tell people that the program itself does work at least somewhat as it had photos and videos come up that were not even ever on my phone that I have now, but I suppose when upgrading to a new phone, those "ghost files" came with it.

@@zayeemrahman8896 Yep, so it sounds like we are not alone. Just bizarre and odd to have videos and photos from SEVEN years ago show up that were not even taken on this phone but photos and videos deleted a day to five days ago don't show. Just strange.

@@mammabearsays Sadly, I was not. I just accepted that they were gone, and I’ve “gotten over it,” so to speak. I’ve now taken safe guards to ensure what happened to me does not happen again, but for those that can truly recover their photos or videos, that is amazing, and I am very happy for you!

Hello, generally, folders and files in "cloud" storage are not recoverable. The whole idea of a cloud is that the file is stored not on your local computer, but on a remote server. It's not possible to recover a file that was neither downloaded nor utilized on your computer directly. This is also true for iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, and other cloud storage platforms.

The website says specifically that the windows version currently doesn’t have the iphone/android recovery feature. I haven’t tried this yet on my PC, but i would love some more info if you have any.

iPhone/Android recovery is only available in the Mac version of Disk Drill.
