Thanks for this information. Is there anyway you are aware to lock a spreadsheet to one computer so it can't be shared using the password? I'm trying to create a spreadsheet I want to sell. So looking for the best way to protect it from being shared with other users. Thanks

@@TeachersTech okay so you just create videos?
hiya, how can i protect the workbook as a whole? I have a file that has around 20 sheets and i need them to be all protected so they cant edit, but others can see too. Also ideally dont want to put a password? So i'm looking for a solution that is like "Protect Sheet", but for the whole book and i really dont want to click and protect each sheet manually. Is there such solution ?
But when I share this file, the other person can make changes to the sheet. Is lock feature only limited to the device of the user? Pls tell. Thanks.
I can show you one way to break any password protected Excel sheet.
After Appling password to excel sheet. just make a copy of that excel workbook the password will automatically gone. this is what I'm trying to fix with my exel workbook but couldn't get any clue yet.. Help plz
I don't understand if I put the password on file.Somebody can crack passwords with some software. What is the use of putting passwords? Is there any other method to lock the file good?
When I open a file, it does not look like you have here. There is NO "info" button. In fact, very time I look at a new video, it seems that everyone has a different way that excel looks. It is not standardized. How can anyone learn this program when it always looks so different depending on who has it?
My Excel does NOT have a file menu!
"12345 yeah that wasn't a very hard password..." *Apparently it was.*
