    SAME! This video blew my mind. Even for the most simple of all audio fade outs, I manually set key frames. I never knew you could just add quick fade out or fade in. The fact that you can just hit P to get a pen tool and quickly add keyframes to the audio bed is amazing.

    You're my new best KZread friend. Seriously! I know the basics of video editing as I've dabbled with it for years, but its all of these subtle nuances that make all of the difference in your workflow. Thanks for teach me something brand new about audio in Premier. I've always gone in and manually set keyframes every time I wanted to fade out audio at a specific point. It sure seems easier to cut the audio track where you want it to end, then use the fade you just taught me *facepalm*

    Thank you! Constant power seems better to me than exponential fade. I would literally just type fade into effects panel and chose that thinking it would fade out music. Not the most experienced user here so this was very helpful!

    Thanks. I am working on an audio where I would like it to slow down gradually. Almost distorting. Peele does it with songs in his trailers. I was trying to duplicate that. However I cannot keyframe speed......I can cut and then reduce the speed but that is too abrupt. So I was looking for a transition

    I love your videos and teaching style. You get right to the point and aren't speed talking like so many others on KZread. I am just getting back into video editing and needed to fix my audio where I have kids playing loudly in a swimming pool and background music. I have used all three methods you taught on but needed a refresher video on Ducting the Dialog or Music. Thanks for making it much easier to edit videos in Adobe Premiere Pro.

    The most annoying thing in premiere is it does not reflect the audio change in the waveform. Let me give you an example of why that is necessary, so I was moving a clip and I accidentally moved the volume line in the clip. And I didn't realise this and ended up sending the project. Only the waveform would have changed when the volume line is moved what will tell me if there is a quiet part or loud part at a glance.

  • @PremiereGal

    @PremiereGal

    2 жыл бұрын

    I could see that being useful, one other idea in the meantime is to turn off the audio keyframing (wrench tool icon > show Audio Keyframing) once your done editing sound so you don’t move that line accidentally, so it will basically go away.
