After a lot of search i find the best way.. i also have s9 plus and using an app call intervalometer you can set interval also in default camera.set iso to 100 auto shutter speed lock focus choose wb and start timelapse :)

I did not have hyper lapse but I looked on my phone and there was a timelapse mode thanks!

Can I use an app such as Footej Camera (full control over iso and shutter speed) to do a time lapse?

I had a quick look on Amazon. You can buy those clip on neutral density filter quite cheaply. One seller has a whole range of lens with clip for £18.00. Bostionye 11 in 1 Phone Camera Lens Kit

sure thing man. You probably could do it for night stuff, but only with something like lapse it pro or some other actual intervalometer for stills, and you'd still be limited to the phone's capabilities in terms of actually shooting at night, so I wouldn't expect any great astro or milky way timelapses, but maybe some night cityscape stuff.

I regularly watch your videos & they are very informative. I use Galaxy s9 plus too but I didn't know that you can choose the speed in hyperlapse mode too. I'm loving my phone day by day. Thank you!

Thanks! I don't remember what I was using when I made this, since it was a while ago now, but I think I updated the gear list for the things I'm using now, in the video description. Lately I've been using some moment filters for the phone stuff, both the ones that go over their lenses (I made a video about that) and their newer ones that go on their case, straight over the phone lenses (haven't made a video about that yet, but will soon).

I'm from Argentina and I'm a huge fan!!!! let me ask you something... when I put the shooter 1/50 and the ISO in 50 on my S8 it's really dark so how can I make it more bright or even how can I do a timelapse in the night.... anyway thanks for your work, your videos are very easy to understand even for a regular person who happens to love fothography like me!!!!

If you're doing a timelapse with lapse it pro then you can set the shutter speed to whatever you want to get the right exposure. If you're doing a timelapse with just taking video and speeding it up, then you won't be able to do long exposures, so you'll have to up your ISO.

If you have more than one video that needs to merge into one big video how do you do that with lapse it

Hey Brent. I'm planning on making my first time lapse video. It's going to be a 'making of' type of video filmed indoors. I'm afraid that me moving around close to the camera or the light source will cause flickering when using hyperlapse (using galaxy S7). I went to check out lapse it on the play store and some recent reviews state that the app is broken on some devices. Is it still working for you? Thanks for your help and input!!

I haven't used lapse it pro in a while, it's kind of a dead app now unfortunately. I would check out filmic pro, (I think there's a timelapse feature in there, but I haven't tried it yet) or an app called Intervalometer, though both of those cost money. Also, maybe you could do a test with the built in hyperlapse mode and see if it will come out how you want it?

I edit videos using an app in my galaxy s20 but I don't see it can speed up that much. How do you speed the video up 5 or 6 thousand %? Thanks

Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate that! I use Premiere pro on my computer to speed up the timelapses like that. I think the new updates for Adobe Premiere Rush for mobile has speed ramping, but I haven't used it yet so I can't confirm that.

Unfortunately my preset packs are only for the computer versions of LR and Camera Raw.

Good info but I have & tried laps it pro used on my LG phone & it only good for a few hours if that & tried reaching out to the app producers & get no response at all! Can you suggest another app? Ty!

Yeah, I haven't used lapse it pro for a really long time now. They basically gave up. I use Intervalometer now. It's way better, and lets me do timelapses in raw with the native pro mode. I made a video about it. I have done a couple of videos about making mobile timelapses lately, and I've been using an app called Intervelometer . As far as I can tell, you should be able to use it on just about any phone since it utilizes whatever camera app you have open.

If your camera has an SD card, then yes, if you're talking about being able to plug a usb flash drive into your phone, then I have no idea. I've never tried that.

Yeah, that's one of the ways I mentioned. Just speed it up in post.

I'M CURIOUS WHAT DO I USE FOR THE ANDROID VERSION PowerDirector? I am eventually getting a computer a powerful one so I can edit my videos and pictures but until then I want to use my android. I purchased the movie for flight and filters and Cena Bloom and UV and CPL in the big design stand everything for the movie and I actually got a good mic the DD pro Plus. Eventually I want to make videos
