I think you can actually use trial and error method for questions 1 and 2 straight on to save time in exam condition

Equation X^3-3X^2-9X-5 = 0 Trial method is good directly to -5 only Say, -5 = (-1)(-1)(-5) X=-1; X=-1 ; X=-5 I am watching from Philippines.

Madam,avoid writing the signs before entering the values.for example , factorise x²-6x+9 Solution X²-6x+9.......given X²-3x-3x+9 X(x-3)-3(x-3) Do not group by writing brackets here
