Very nice machines to make yourself. Not directly original, but functional. You have to pay more attention to your safety. I see you grinding, sawing, cutting and drilling towards your hands. Fortunately I can still see all fingers and no plasters.

El movimiento pendular debiese asegurarse, se nota ligeras fugas y una presión en puntos críticos del sistema. Si se acondiciona unos rodamientos para guiar la cuchilla y el cuerpo que sostiene la misma, la oscilación lateral tendería a ser mucho menor...

The idea is great... but if the screw or any other axis moves inside the wood holes, it will cause those holes to erode and expand and then they will not work properly... I also suggest attaching a box to the saw arm to put weights in it to cause the saw to press on the piece of iron to be cut... and I would prefer to convert the entire device from wood to square hollow iron... Good work 👏👏👏👍.

Had a far heavier saw setup in a blacksmith shop run from a washer motor. It was metal and had a sliding weight that could go out a foot or so to add pressure. It looked ugly was slow as molasses but would cut through 6 inch round bar given time.

A good project I might add the electric motor requires air flow to cool itself otherwise it will overheat and burn up , I would add vents to the cover

Amigo, podría compartirme como hizo la lijadora y amoladora y las medidas de las piezas de madera que usó? Tengo 2 motores de lavarropas y me gustaría armar esas herramientas, me gusta reciclado y hacer pequeños trabajos de carpintería y otros.Espero su respuesta, mi wsp es +54 9 388 4876702, tengo 72 años me gustaría cumplir este sueño pronto, el tiempo pasa muy rápido. Excelente trabajo, pero tengo una duda, cuando hizo la lijadora y le puso el disco de madera y lo afirmo con los tres pernos, luego encendió el motor el disco se movía mucho, como lo hizo para que girara sin que bailara y trabajara en forma recta ? Muchas gracias y espero respuesta

Interesante sus proyectos y voy a considerar realizar uno de ellos. Pero tengo una sugerencia, en el minuto 15:20 se podría poner un interruptor o pulsador de timbre para que detenga el motor al caer el marco porta sierra.

He wired it to run on 12v you can increase the speed by increasing the volts upto 48v. Do not run these motors on ac Rick
