    Our content is for US residents attending schools in the US. Every scholarship program has their own requirements. There are some scholarships that do not require US citizenship or legal residency. You would qualify for scholarships that do not have that requirement.

    I was aware of most of this information, but did not know you don't have to pay interest on the subsidized loans until the student gets out of college. I also don't know the difference between grants and scholarships.

    Our content is for residents living in US attending college in US. If you live in Jamaica, you would have to find resources for your area. You could start by gathering scholarship opportunities in your school or community.
