Great vid. I really enjoyed it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I recommend the wood pellets. We just recently switched over from expensive name brand clay litter that you pay an arm & a leg for, to wood pellets. It’s way better much much cheaper & no cat pee odours. I honestly regretting not switching over sooner because we have 5 adult cats 🐈‍⬛ 4 litter boxes. Can you imagine what I was paying monthly for name brand clay litter at the grocery stores. I’m never using clay litter again.

If u have shifter then wood pellet is good . Otherwise trust me without shifter its hell go clean wood pellet litter especially with susu (pee)

The wood turns to sawdust instead of clumping. The way it is handled is different from the others. You use a sifting litterbox and let the sawdust sift to the bottom tray.

Even with out a litter box sifter it is better. I just use a hand held sifter I used with the old clay litter and then use a scooper to scoop it out. I used to break my back getting the big boxes of litter off of the TOP shelves where they always put it. then to get it in the house and every time I had to add more it was so heavy. LOVE THE PELLETTS. YUP YUP. I have not tried the tofu, but love the pellets

@@randibeall6864 imo wood pellets sounds like extra jobs.. because you need scoop up the feces then sift the pee-dust from the clean pellets... If you dont have a sifter litter box then you're gonna need another temporary container to put the clean pellets.. 🤷 if tofu and clay you just need to scoop up the clumps.

I prefer wood for my single cat. I change it about once every 2 weeks and clean the poop out maybe three times in that period. It doesn’t smell unless it is fully saturated.

Your litter box sounds like the size of a swimming pool. Seriously how do you manage to only clean their litter boxes once a fortnight? I have two biggish litter boxes for two four month kittens and I’m cleaning their waste at least twice a day. One doesn’t bury it and I nearly die from the smell. Their litter boxes are in the downstairs toilet and one stepped into his own poop yesterday while I was there cleaning them out. Luckily I was able to quickly wash his paw before he ran off spreading poo all over the house. Imagine if I wasn’t constantly cleaning up after them!? They’d be stepping in and spreading muck all over the house.

i prefer the wood one. its super absorbing nature hardened the waste. can just pick the shit and trow it away. plus its 100x better due to dust free and the powder goin down so easy to separate the powder and remaining pellet. once it turn to powder it releases the pine scent. truly minimize the effort to do cleaning every morning

Well when a cat poops it’s not able to cover its poops as the wood pellets are bigger, my cat hated wood pellets and started to pee in closets, I went back to clumping litter and it’s just a breeze. The people who prefer wood pellets basically want to save money

They're easier to pick up when they don't bury them. It keeps the box cleaner and less smelly when you can get them right away without having to fish around for them. Wood pellets do save a lot of money. Most people don't have a problem with that.

Clay does smell bad! I changed to wood and never going back to clay. If the cat pees, I don't smell the urine instead the pine wood scent came out. If u don't it to be smelly, just make sure u clean out the litter box few times a day. I have 2 litter boxes and both in my house, no stench only mild wood scent 😌

Please use non clumbing cat litter for kittens, kittens have been known to eat cat litter and it will harden inside them.

My only problem with the wood pellet is that the poop smelled so bad!!! I would pick it up right away but still, the whole house would get smelly and my Cat would not cover it with the wood pellet so I had to switch to the clumping ones. I don't. like them either!!! I wish with pine Pellets the poop wouldn't smell as bad. SO I just bought a few things tonight to see if I can Mix the clumping ones with the wood pellet ones!! Lets see if that works.

If you wanna minimize the smell then change out the type of foods cause wet can make it really stink! May not be a difference since poo is smelly bt default 😅

1st question, is the wooden pallet bag easily available in pet shop, everywhere? 2nd is, for pee its ok that it comes down thr sieve but wat abut their poop, does the poop form clump with wooden pallets or remain as such? Plz reply. Thnx

We buy our wood pellets from a farm store. It's used for Equine bedding. A 40# bag costs about $ 8 USD. It lasts us approximately 2 months with 3 cats.

Oh wow I am new to Wood and Tofu litter trying to leave the old expensive Scoop Away and this video helped a lot! I was told many times that the wood one would clump... but looks like it just falls apart after a while, I was even about to buy it before seeing this video. If I have to leave my cat alone for long hour's because I have to go to work, I assume my best option is Tofu litter would that be correct? Thanks for this video!

I just started to use wood pellet litter. It turns into dust when water (pee) is added. You can use a double bottomed tray cat litter or you can reverse scoop. I love it, it's easier than any other type of cat litter i ever tried, it's eco friendly, and you can flush it down the toilet. 10/10 would recommend

What is the tray you are using? Wood pellets are great at asorbtion is biodegradable and may use in gardens. Wood pellets may cost less than tofu. Stop using clay.

@@HlGHBRIDGE no, not at all, I suppose it would if you left it more than a few days, we change it Wednesday evening and Sunday day time, and wash the tray every time we empty it, his litter tray is a really big square one, I’m not even sure it’s a litter tray, just a big plastic tray lol, maybe a smaller tray would need doing more regularly, it’s so much cheaper though, and more eco friendly I imagine. You know it needs changing because it goes dusty instead of pellets
