Not only it is prohibited by law in many countries to change type of bulb used, but also the beam forming gets worse since LED is not distributing light in the same way as halogen

I have the little hand held battery operated chain saw - I bought the 6" bar. It is the best yard tool I have purchased. I am a senior lady and fell and broke my wrist last fall. I have not regained the flexibility of the hand but this is great because I have use it just fine. I had two electric 12 and 14" chain saws that dragging an electric cord around across the fencing to the forest edge is a royal pain - plus the 2 corded saws leak oil all over the place. That leaking does not happen with the 6" bar. Several years ago I hired someone to cut trees that were 6" and larger and I have used Roundup and my 12 and 14" chain saws and a big lopper to kill and cut down the small sapplings before they grow too tall and can fall on my home in the storms and tornadoes. This 6" saw (battery operated) is lightweight and eliminates use of the corded bigger saws and the herbicide. I LOVE this 6" battery operated saw.

In my 35 years of owning four different cars, I've had to replace regular 'old school' filament bulbs exactly six times. Two headlights (older sealed-beam), one turn signal bulb, and three license plate bulbs. Plus, aftermarket LED bulbs can really screw up a cars electrical system if they're aren't designed properly (and most of them aren't). LED bulbs are a solution in search of a problem.

I could've used that Dremel extension with a cutting wheel to cut out a rusted sway bar link in my 1979 Pontiac instead of my angle grinder. Definitely gonna look for that one!

I've used the Dremel to cut exhaust hangers before, it took a while, but it got through. Haha. That was before I got the grinder. I work in the chemical industry and have safety glasses everywhere cuz of it. I picked a good hobby to get into. Haha.

Aftermarket L.E.D's don't always give the correct beam pattern and they don't get hot enough to keep snow and ice off the headlight lens.

  • @PDPIE1029

Yes, good quality ones will have the correct beam pattern but some still don’t melt ice. Check out the Morimoto 2 stroke 3.0 headlights though. They redesigned them to recirculate the hot air into the housing so they melt ice and snow. They’re also well designed to produce an accurate beam pattern when aimed and clocked properly. NEVER buy cheap eBay LEDs or HIDs. They’re dangerous and lack the quality and R&D necessary to perform properly.

I might get some LED lights the next time I have to replace a headlight or taillight. Some cars it seems like it's less time consuming or hard to pull the engine or transmission than it is to change a light. I've been around 1000w and 7000w studio lights before. You could heat a decent size house with the heat a 7000w keg light makes.

That windsheild cleaner is needed for the long sloped windshields. My Sebring needed that because it was impossible to get the inside bottom of the windshield clean with just your hands. I eventually purchased a Microfiber handheld extension that would allow me to get all the way down to the bottom of the inside of my windshield.

LED headlights with a cooling fan, the fan will fail a lot sooner than 30,000 hours, typically within 1-3 years. But then it overheats anyway and back to square one. Get one without the fan.
