Well, yeah. Life is complicated. I posit that the true first step to improving one's art is dismissing the mentality that life is easy, or that it is supposed to be.

Go back to the basics then. It's like complaining you can't draw a cool looking building, when you can barely scribble a cube. Admittedly, anatomy is hard. It's taken me over 2 years of drawing people to finally get these things sorta right.

learn to first Draw the Pose in Gesture Lines. then Construct with shapes. than Just Outline Trace those shapes. it works for me, makes it alot easier to Consteuct dynamic pose. the only thing i Just copy is The details of The Anatomy muscle curves and All Lines across the Body. from my personal Experience....some parts of Anatomy cannot be masterd or learnt with Study... this Requires Practice by constitent Drawing until thr Entire Subject becomes Natural To Construct

i've given up on ever being good at anatomy, and have settled for mediocrity. but i use references for my art, 1000s of photos collected over years, anatomy books, 3d posing tools, asking people to pose for me, i'll use anything and everything available. i cant let my weakness slow me down, i will compensate in other ways until i get better. because every time you draw you get better.

Nice loop! but anyways heres a horror story Chapter I: The Cursed Game This story takes place on september of 2019. I was at my Grandma's house because my house was getting renovated. Unfortunately my Grandma's house had horrible wifi connection and I got really bored so I asked my grandma if there was any fun games I could play and she said "I put some of my old games on the attic. You can play with those". I went up to the attic and I found some sports equipment, some really old toys, a bunch of jigsaw puzzles but one stood out the most. I went to get a closer look at it and it was a wooden board covered with numbers and letters and then I realized it was the Ouija Board. Chapter II: Ouija Board Theft Since I liked horror stuff I really wanted to play it even though I didn't believe in ghosts. I still wanted to play it with my friends so I went downstairs and I showed it to my Grandma. When she saw it she grabbed the board out of my hands and threw it in the trash can. Grandma told me in a serious tone "Do not play with that". I asked "Why not?" and she replied with "I made a horrible mistake when I was young. Do not make the same mistake I did.". However I did not listen to my Grandma and I took the board and hid it on my backpack when she wasn't looking and took it to my home. Chapter III: Infiltrating The School The next day after school I texted four of my friends Matthew, Freya, Malek, Saphia and Jason if they wanted to play the Ouija Board. Matthew and Malek declined the offer while Freya, Saphia and Jason wanted to play. Jason had the idea of playing on the school since there was a rumour that our school was built on top of a cemetery so it was perfect for the game. However if one of the teacher's caught us then we would be in lots of trouble so we came up with a plan to break in our school late at night at around 2:00AM so no teachers were on the school. Chapter IV: Hidden Rules When the time was 2:00AM we went to a random classroom. Jason brought 2 candles along with a lighter and I showed the Ouija board to everyone but I heard Freya say "Wait! theres something behind the board!". I flipped the board and I saw text I never seen before, it says "Rule 1: Dont use the board when theres a full moon. The spirits dont like it. Rule 2: Only contact the dead. Do not contact spirits beyond your understanding. Rule 3: Do not leave your hands off the planchette without ending the game. Bad things might happen.". Chapter V: Demonic Presence When we finished reading the rules we lit the candles, we set up the game, and we put our hands on the planchette. We asked "Is anyone here?". We waited for a while but the planchette never moved so Saphia asked "To anyone who died in the school can you show us your presence?". Once again the Planchette never moved so Jason said "Let's summon something else then!". Saphia said "I don't think thats a good idea." but Jason replied back with "Dont worry its not real." then he said "What other super magical beings are here?". The Planchette moved and spelled out "Nihilus". Freya asked "What are you?" the planchette spelled out "Lord". I asked "Can you show yourself?" but the lights suddenly turned off. Chapter VI: School On Fire We were still holding the planchette even though the lights were off but Saphia was acting weird. Saphia was breathing heavily. Freya asked "Saphia, you ok?" but Saphia started pointing at me. I was really confused so I asked "What did I do?". Saphia said "Theres someone behind you!". I turned around and saw no one so I asked "What do you mean? No one's behind me.". Saphia was about to speak but she fell on the floor and started vomiting out black goo. All three of us let go of the planchette and checked on Saphia to make sure that she was okay but I noticed that the planchette was moving on its own and it spelled out "Thank you for freeing me". I asked "From what?" then it spelled out "From hell". Jason noticed this so he grabbed one of the candles and used it to burn the Ouija board. The fire started spreading fast so me and Freya got out of the classroom but the door slammed shut on Jason and Saphia. Chapter VII: The Dark Figure I tried opening the door but It wouldn't open like an unstoppable force is keeping the door shut. I had no choice but to leave Jason and Saphia behind. Me and Freya luckily survived and we went back to our houses but before going home I turned around and I saw this dark figure on the school entrance; he was as tall as the door frame and he was wearing this mask that looked like a skull. I didn't care who he was I just wanted to get out of the burning school. I ran back home and I directly went to my bed so I could forget the whole situation tomorrow. The next day I woke up and got out of my bed but I accidently stepped on something. I lifted my foot to see what it was and I was shocked to see the planchette on the floor which was weird because I left it on the school and I didn't bring it with me. Moral of the story: Listen to your elder's advice. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.
