GREAT VIDEO for bowhunters! For us old men who must gun hunt all species of game from a ground blind, please allow me to add two cents of advice. Set up your ground blind as far from hunting pressure as possible. Set up 200-400 yards (10-40 yards for turkey) from where you expect game animals to appear. Add hunter orange to the top of your ground blind so others hunters will see your blind and know your area is actively being hunted. Use a minimum of 2 person popup ground blind for easy setup and tear down of your ground blind. I use my game cart for hauling my ground blind & gear into, and out, of the field.

Absolutely! Those are great tips, Mr. Bartylla. I uploaded a video from one of my hunts where I flipped the safety forward on my crossbow, and that was all it took to ruin my hunt. The buck heard it, turned and made a circle just outside where I wanted to take the shoot. 😒

I flat blacked some of the forward parts of my bow and crossbow since the front of the weapon will be the closest to whatever window I might be shooting out of.

I also sit far back in the blind to stay in the shadows .

It never crossed my mind to wear black in a ground blind... I usually hunt in a tree, but thats definitely something that is so over looked..
