Dear Piku, I had a life long dream to learn guitar. (I learnt to play the Hawaiian Guitar long ago. But my father did not want me to play the acoustic version.) Now I am 55+ and am learning to to play this. My teacher is an old man of 83 years and was a guitarist for Salil Chowdhury, Ravindra Jain and many other stalwarts. Many of my friends tried to dissuade me. But I'm learning for my own self. You are young enough to be my daughter. I follow your channel and am learning a LOT from you. Salute to my young teacher. Sir my dad also played Hawaiian guitar...he also said me that Hawaiian was good but I convinced him to buy me a acoustic ...and he bought one for me....and one thing I want to say that even if you'r 55+ there no restrictions to learn anything... 😇😇

When I was a beginner I was afraid to fret the 1st fret fret it would just leave a mark on my finger 😭 ahaha that stuff doesn't bother me now it's been 2 years tho I'm still a beginner since I only play fingerstyle and never had a teacher it's been hard learning theories
