You either take things seriously or ignore it. In my school if you’re seen with a phone on lessons, a free call with your parents, a freshly printed warning letter, instant black mark and safekept for 2 months. You want it back? Oh, tell your parents to write a letter for that. You got a new one? Oh, we’ll take that too even if you’re not using it. Again? Double it. It’s pretty cruel and they make no acceptions, so everyone kinda fears the disciplinary teachers. On the other hand, barely anyone’s stupid enough to do so and there’s literally zero bullying.

It's all fun and stuff until a notification..

As a teacher of mine once said "It's my job to teach you, but it's your choice whether you want to learn or not." He'd often let us use our phones whenever and it was great. The people who didn't want to learn just sat at the back wasting time, while the others participated in his lesson or used their phones to study on their own. That's how every teacher should be in my opinion. Everybody learns differently at their own pace, so shouldn't be forced to participate in the same way or be punished for not. 💙

if my class had your teacher, everyone would be sitting in the back except for me and like 2 other people. one time, our science teacher let us either work on our project (a slides presentation) at that exact moment or do it at home and only 3 people (including me) did it during class, literally everyone was on their phones scrolling through tik tok or something i dunno laughing and playing memes or whatever and it was really annoying cause they were just wasting their at home freetime

I'm a class manager and in my school we put our phones inside a class locker (we don't have individual lockers) and a class manager will hold the key. There is a rule in my school that stated " students are not permitted to have/play with their devices when it's learning time, unless the teacher allows it" . My classmates took break time as the time that they're allowed to play with their phones and ask the one that hold the key to give their phone back (the excuse are they want to inform their mother something or that they want to get their money from their phone case) , the first few times are okay, but we (the class managers) started getting complains that our classmates aren't letting go of their phones even when break time is over, so the principal just granted me permission to take their phone (either by them giving it to me or force) and put them (the phones) inside a cabinet in her office. So in my case of terrible classmates that takes advantages of every situation, yes it's okay, my class is also the trouble class among like 5 different classes. Sorry for my bad english, I'm still learning and thank you for reading my little rant❤
