In 2 spherical method Usually we take the sph value from least Power Meridian in optical cross then why took largest value for sphere . it's confusing

Least or largest power meridian formula will come after knowing the mechanism. As an optometrist you have to know everything then follow the specific rule. There is no such rules that we can't take larger power meridian as Spherical meridian. You can take any meridian as Spherical.

Why did we keep the cyl trial lens at 90° only in the 1st method?? Pls explain

You can take any meridian as cylindrical meridian. I took horizontal meridian as cylindrical meridian that's why I put cylinder axis at 90°. There is no specific rule that we have to keep cylinder 90° axis only. Watch updated version of this video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aGaG1tGkaLzJgLA.html

Pls u are missing up axis and meridian, wen u scope up and down with the light at horizontal,u are scoping on the vertical meridian and horizontal axis, pls don't mistake meridian from axis

You are right..... The procedure or method is correct but there are some mismatching/misrecording between the axis and meridian. Soon we will upload updated version of this video..... Thank you, Team Smart Optometry.

If the reflex is oblique how can neutrilized

You have to rotate the retinoscopic slit to align with oblique axis. Then neutralize the meridian with any of the one technique. Watch this video few times. By imagine, you can't learn retinoscopy. Start practicing in patient.

Clear my confusion. In 1st technique, You 1st neutralized verticle axis, with sphere. And then you neutralized horizontal axis with cyl. You did a mistake there, in axis identification.

There is no mistake. First technique is "Neutralize one meridian with Spherical trial lens (Spherical meridian) and other meridian with Cylinder trial lens (Cylinder meridian). Watch this technique few times more, distribute the power in optical cross then converted into prescription from, try in real patient. This is the easiest technique.

Your description is causing a bit confusion between Meridian and Axis . Meridian is determined by the direction of Streak movement , to and fro . If Streak is moving horizontally , then you are scanning Horizontal meridian. So The result will be written for Horizontal Meridian on the Horizontal side of cross, and vice versa. where as Streak direction or orientation indicates Axis in Angle . If Streak is vertically oriented then axis is near 90 , and vice versa.
