Dude...BattleToads Double Dragon music hit...and brought me back 20 years, with me and my little brother playing on the SNES. I haven't thought of that song or game in years. That actually emotionally hit me hard. Thanks for bringing back a special memory.

Thank you for balancing the game Mort, it wouldn't be the same without you.

the problem with Bard is, that he cheats the system. think about it, Set 4 Sharpshooter gave auto attacks(!) and spells the ricochet effect. Set 11s Trickshot specifically removed the auto attack from it. and what does bard do? He makes his auto attack ricochet again, (while also unintentionally breaks the rageblade scaling on him)

That alone would have been what ends up actually disgusting is he is a hybrid dps and a decent amount 70AD/60AP at 3 star this allows him to double dip on stats from items rage blade and gaint slayer 3 mythic atm is 10AD/AP he effectively turns that into 20

Honestly I didn't think Bard was that bad until I ran an umbral 6 invoker 4 board with maxed out alune with perfect items, a strong kog, and a 3 star annie and the bard still absolutely deleted my entire team before kog, alune, or annie could kill him. He barely even had mythic and trickshot, it's not like he was trickshot 4, mythic 7. I think saying "redditors will complain because they got second to this comp" but there can still be a problem. If someone had a board of ony 3 star one costs compared to a board of only 3 star 4's, we should expect the 4's to win. There is some level of expected/intended balance and currently Bard might be too much of a problem in the current state.

@project5877 i do beat 3 star bard From time to time the key is to have backline accses 7 fated for example if you bond thresh and sett that is 45% omnivamp and 60 armor/mr for all fated units

I think some sort of trait, like assassin or something similar that could access backlines, would go a long way to not having a Guinsoo Bard in every game.

The bard encounter has been my most common one this set. Its crazy how many games start out with him

For me it's sett. Sometimes I get sett multiple games in a row and never got more than 3 games without seeing him.

Had a Hyperroll game with prismatic wandering trainer 8 ghostly 7 inkshadow Kayn 3 Morgana 3. Most capped board i ever played

why did he skip a kayn at 5-5? does he not know the title of the video and he's supposed to be hitting kayn 3?

such an easy comp as bard should be enough just for top 4. what I get upset about is that you have to reach a relatively unusual point to win over it. otherwise you play for the second which kills motivation

Honestly i think an easy change for bard is making rageblade unique. 1 rage bard just isnt as strong and might be the small nudge to keep it in line with other comps but doesn't kill it

Bard nerf incoming, so fucking annoying

Im so sick of people crying about bard lol. He is too strong, but he isnt as overpowered as im seeing comments say he is, and neither is yone. I have seen Yone top 4 a lot, but never win, and when i see Bard win, it is typically bard 3, kench 3, kog 3, cho 3, full mythic and then multiple 2 star 4 costs, and at that point i think a comp with all that should be winning. It is still too strong, but the crying for hot fixing needs to stop. People dont remember old sets where B patches were acrually needed for balance. Some of these people didnt play during warweek and it shows.

Where did he justified not nerfing bard? There hasn't even been a patch out yet. B patches are meant for excessive problems like bugs or actually way too strong augments or characters, people play bard and still crash and burn with it, not a priority.

I hit Kayan 3 yesterday when 7 people were still alive but was one ho and got into a guy with 3 star Annie and finished 7th feelsbadman

I actually played a 3 star Kayne with 7 heavenly. But still lost🥲placed third
