Was anyone thinking the block cut with the hole saw was looking like one of the artifacts in the movie The Fifth Element? I love that one.

For cutting a cove, one can use a table saw as well. I have done it. Take your fence off and set up a wood fence at an angle. Then set you blade at 1/8 inch then make a pass and then move the blade up a turn. Do this a bunch of times until you are happy with the depth. You can make some really nice trim stuff with 2x4s, 2x6s as well. i really like the candle idea and this could be used for the bottom of legs. I have a 6.25 hole saw that would work good for getting higher up on the leg. Super cool idea and look super good too. Nice Job Josh!

Josh, I love these projects and I love to make things that you design. Your creativity astounds me on each of your videos. You are my proof that a woodworker does not have to have several thousand dollars of fancy equipment in order to make impressive projects. You're an inspiration to the many weekend/garage woodworkers out there. Thanks for this and all of the other excellent videos.

Super cool. Love this series - even the ones that took longer because it's cool to see what you can make from construction lumber. I'll admit - I got a little nervous when you where holding that small block with your bare hand while using that forstner... I've had those things grab and rip wood out of my hand.

Another awesome idea but u should really use a drill press vise or one of those wooden screw clamp (8$ @harbor freight) to hold that small of a piece GOD forbid tht bit blows out amd shreds ur hand not trying to be safety police cuz I'm not perfect but I've had a drill press accident 6yrs ago and was doing something very similar.@3:15 .42 stitches and scarred for life. Thanks for sharing these stay safe!

I am continually impressed with your creative ideas and videos. I really want to try the miter saw bowl. My 12” saw has a 1” arbor and my 10” blades have a 5/8” arbor. How did you solve this?

Hey Josh, very cool ideas! I especially love the little tealight lamp, I'm trying to make it but I'm stuck on making the curves with the hole saw. How does your arbor not have a centering bit? Did you cut yours short or something? If you could share that last bit of info, I'll be able to finish this excellent gift idea! Thank you!!! Thumbs up and subscribed!

I really like your builds and videos. I see you using a Hercules miter saw,(Harbor Freight?) and was impressed that you didn't need to showcase a Festool product. Do you have a list of your other tools? The crosscut fence on your table saw looks formidable. Keep doing what you're doing!
