🎉 happy new year, sis!! let's chat -- today's question: what word/ Bible verse/ phrase did God give you for 2024? for me, since God and I work in quarters (every 3 months, He'll give me a new word/ phrase/ etc.), my first phrase of 2024 is "Enjoy the Journey". I've never been much of a destination addict but somehow that mindset got ahold of me in 2023 and the Lord is stripping me away from feeling like things needs to be "perfect" or a specific way before I can enjoy all that He's doing in my life. so cheers so enjoying the ride with Him & letting His presence be the prize and not the destination!

My word for 2024 is obedience. There's a Promise Land for me. However, I won't see it without obedience. I started reading the Bible in October, and Moses' journey and the Israelites wandering hit me hard. I had to stop after the Books of Samuel and study what I read, starting with Exodus deeply. My study of Deuteronmy began today, and God chose Obedience as my word.

The two things I keep hearing The Lord say to me are "FAITH" and "STOP WORRYING". My story summarized: I have been without a consistent job since February of 2023, and God has been keeping me afloat. Well, I got a call on December 27th from the vice president of the organization stating that the organization would like to offer me a position. However, the job is about 2 hours away from my residence, and I need to move--which is where the problem comes in, but I keep hearing God say, "Stop worrying, and have faith. Don't be anxious. It is all going to work out". Bible verses: Matthew 6:25-34 AND Romans 8:28-30...Hopefully, this helps someone who may be in the same situation or predicament as myself. My brother Robert had a massive stroke 2 months ago. He was on a ventilator for a month. He is now sitting up,no tubes,but he goes up and down with depression about his situation . These songs are a balm for our broken hearts and give us hope and peace. Prayer works and God is real and he is a healer. Keep ministering and pray for us .

My word is discipline!! God gave me this word before the NY and i went to a watch night service and the pastor said the same thing! It was truly a prophetic word. I’ve deleted my social media apps, began a Bible plan with my sister, and deleted my dating apps. Truly trying to focus on my relationship with Christ and praying that everything else will just fall in place

Turned 23 today 02/01😬(nervous ngl) this is the first video I see and I believe God is working amazing NEW things for me in my life even when I don't feel like it, He is working, even when I feel discouraged He is working Things that I'm hearing a lot is "God is doing something new" and "What is for you is for you" I trust this is God's encouragement for me to keep waiting on Him and to trust Him

God keeps telling me my words for the year are restore and reset, this is the year he’s going to restore me in all areas of my life that I’ve lost, and give me a reset from this season I’ve been going through.

God’s mandate for me as I start this year: “Do not worry about tomorrow. Obey today” or “Do not worry about tomorrow’s obedience. Obey today.”

In this New Year God has told me that it’s time to pray without restrictions and have faith that I will receive all that I ask for. I’m someone who’s always conservative with my prayers because I don’t want to ask God for something so great that I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get an answer but this year I am going to pray without boundaries and have faith that He will answer as He always does regardless of how impossible it seems at the time❤

God is leading me to my own land in 2024 , my verse of the year Isa 43:19

For right now, the word is definitely Psalm 46:10- Be still and know that I am God. I’ve learned that “be still” actually means to surrender, which is something I’ve been holding back on since last year May. This verse was brought to my attention while doing a Bible study on what it means to surrender just three days before the new year. Then the sermon I heard at church just yesterday mentioned the same verse and my pastor said that it also meant to surrender! I honestly felt like God was speaking directly to me!! So I’m learning to surrender everything on to Him this year! :)

I feel like I don't feel God in my life right now. I've been praying to God constantly and have felt like I'm in a really long isolation and silent season and don't feel or hear anything. I have faith that God hears my prayers, in Jesus's name, amen.

I feel that God wants my word for this year to be "bloom" to be bold and to not hide from who He wants me to become right now And the verse from Esther 4:14 "for such a time as this"

Give me strength this New Year. Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking for your blessings as a single mom. My husband is in heaven with you. I’m raising my children with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face with my sons being autistic. Lord as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. ❤

Oh my gracious! I did that back in June of last year because I heard God tell me to get rid of all the clutter and only keep what I need on a daily basis. I am ready to move when my “suddenly” comes!

My bible verse is Ephesians 3:20! God wants me to take the limits off of him and allow him to be God in my life!

Key Word: Courage! No more fear!

My word for 2024 is "Overflow"... I was praying about a couple of words and of course God had something else in mind... so overflow it is. I've been isolated, experienced incredible loss and struggle and been on the verge of just giving up this past year and I'm eager to come out of this season... so looking forward to how overflow will play out in my life this year.

After 2 failed cycles, I am expecting ivf results of 3rd cycle in a couple of days. For the past few months, i have been feeling that Holy spirit is telling me to trust God more and overcome the anxiety. I don't know what will be the outcome of this cycle. But I have learnt that even if its a negative, God works everything for my good and his glory. I am ready to face it💪

I am desperate for God to move in my life this year as I have felt very stuck no job and living back at home with my family. Really praying and believing God will answer my prayers soon. My word for the year is "action" and I'm willing to go the extra mile for where God needs me.

My word for 2024 is Wisdom! God is telling me to seek wisdom and to stop playing a fool's game.

My word for this year is Psalms 4:7 “You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound” as someone who grew up in the church, I never associated joy and fun with my relationship with God. Last year I moved, so I don’t have a home church right now and this has been extremely, as I’ve been bombarded with the feeling of isolation and loneliness, therefore this year God is challenging me to find and do things with him that are fun and surround myself with likeminded people. He constantly reminds me that fun doesn’t have to associate with sin, so my goal is to find new ways to enjoy his presence everyday. Pray for me ladies!

My word of the year is ‘FOCUS’. Last year was so hard and I was struggling to remain faithful during the tough times. This year I plan to FOCUS on God because he has a plan for me and FOCUS on staying consistent with everything I do such as reading my bible, working out & chasing my dreams.

I believe God gave me the phrase, "It is finished." I felt like everything is wrapped up and I no longer have to look back. I'd just have to keep moving forward. Though the unknown awaits me, I no longer have to look to the ways and to the people I am familiar with to deal with everything. Instead, God is leading me into trusting Him and constantly seeking Him so I am able to align my life with His will and plans. I am standing for my marriage but ultimately my husbands salvation and the last sign is the reason I continue to preserver because the work that the Lord has done in me alone is by far prove of his Goodness and that he is truth. My year 2023 was a dark night for me, my husband and my family. I lost hope, i had an hard time praying. I felt like i deceived the Lord. My husband lost his job 2 times. People were not nice to him. I had lost of fights with him. We lost our grandpa. A bunch of stuff to do in a short period of time and so many things. By the end of 2023. I was so tired. But the Lord did not let me down. He gave me back faith and hope. Things are starting to come back to place. He is moving things little by little. And it is just amazing. Praise the Lord. 🎉

my Word for this year is Renewing! funnily enough, I noticed the word on one of our shampoo bottles the other day when I was in the bathroom. I had not noticed it before but I looked over and it was sticking out to me immediately. I feel like God was answering me before I even asked!
