3 Shocking Developments in Utah Mom Accused of Poisoning Husband

Ойын-сауық

Lawyers representing Kouri Richins filed a flurry of motions asking to withdraw from the case and to disqualify prosecutors. Richins is accused of murdering her husband, Eric Richins, in March 2022. Richins claims prosecutors have violated her rights by listening to her phone calls with one of her lawyers. They're also asking the judge to suppress the so-called "Walk the Dog Letter." The moves come after a long-awaited preliminary hearing was delayed until June. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy talks about the new developments with the spokesperson for Eric Richins' family in this episode of Crime Fix - a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

It’s been said that her mother also poisoned her lover (a female) several years ago and received a substantial amount of death insurance. She would never plead guilty because she knows her mother got away with murder she thinks she will too. By the way mom is also being investigated in both murderers. So they say

There has been a few articles about him. He is a witness for the state, witness #3. I think KR only had the relationship with him in an attempt to get him to help with her plan. He was a handyman working for her in her realty business, she gave him a truck and an apartment, and engaged in their relationship. She evicted him and stopped contact with him shortly after Eric passed. He seems to be a cooperating witness for the state, so I assume he has lots of juicy nuggets and will give very interesting testimony. Hopefully he is credible.

Agree 100%. It's stunning to realize how many commentators believe that trials aren't necessary. They are also, unfortunately, among the Dunning-Kruger crowd and obviously unfamiliar with the US Constitution. L&C should do a video that is a primer on the judicial branch of govt. 😂

I noticed that too. She kept purposely using CL’s real name. Used the first and the last on separate occasions. Felt very intentional. Judge had to keep correcting her. Seemed like they’re trying to break her so she won’t testify since her testimony puts the fent in Kouri’s hands

Hmmm. A very suspicious lawyer may be behind it all. No surprise she wants to bail before being completely caught.
