I have 2 cats and I invited a 3rd in. It's a long story, she was a Siamese and VERY sick. I had a spare room and I kept her there so she'd have a safe and comfortable place to be before passing away because I thought there was no way she'd survive. A week later, she miraculously bounced back. She will forever have a slight respiratory problem, other than that she's 100% healthy. For a long time when I picked her up, she would put one paw on each of my shoulders and give me little kisses on my nose☺️. Of course she NEVER did that when anyone else was looking, until one day she did. I was just happy someone got the chance to see her do that!!! She is the SWEETEST cat in the words (to be clear, I love the other two cats just as much). I'm so thrilled she pulled through! I love that little girl with all of my ♥️🥰.

I love all Simon’s routines, but my favourite is when he comes into your home office for affection ❤

Simon is a true Siamese gentleman - incredibly handsome, impeccable manners, and the sweetest chirping to melt anyone's heart - all the good things packaged into one! BTW, we love Bubbles the Lynx Point lioness just as much, I was ordered to mention that by Max! 😜😁😻❤️

Great massage therapists too.

We have Siamese litter mates, a boy and a girl, who are 14 months old. We are retired and spoil them rotten, and I have never loved a cat this much nor had it returned to me the way my boy does. The girl is more aloof but is coming around as she ages, but she is so soft you can't help but want to be around her. They have us shaking our heads at them constantly as they can be so goofy and fun, and i can't imagine life without them now. My last Siamese died 5 years ago at the age of 19, and it took me 5 years to want another cat, I was hurting so badly. My wife lost her Yorkie a year after he died, and we were both pretty devastated for the intervening years. Get another pet and don't wait 4-5 years like we did. It's time lost forever if you wait.

Isnt it a joy to have a beautiful cat in your life? They just make the world a better place ❤

All 3 are wonderful routines, but we give the paws up to the personal MEOW greeting when entering Simon's space. Sweet.

What a great way to start off a brand new day, with a headbonk and meow from Simon!

Cats 100% greet people. Used to have a roommate with two cats, I'd always say hi to them, ask them how their day was and other dumb stuff and I guess they enjoy responding. If you talk to them generally they'll talk back.

Simon is the perfect handsome gentleman....I love his manners. I would love to see some Bubbles-themed videos in 2024. I would like to know her story too!

That’s so adorable!!!! Omg my paternal family members had a Siamese cat named Simon too! They actually had a Border Collie named Simon too which I never knew was weird until years later. He used to respond to us kids calling him “Salami” and we thought it was the funniest thing ever

I have had 7 Siamese cats in my lifetime. They are wonderful cats. They really take over the house and are great company. My last one does talk…A LOT and is loud but we love it!?

Since Simon is so regal and handsome, we’ll let it slide that he doesn’t have that typical Siamese yowl for a voice. 😊🩵

I got my first cat Jake at the age of 8 weeks old. As Jake aged, he developed severe arthritis in his legs and so hated the winter.In the early morning he would get me up to let him go out and do his personal business. Then after about two hours, he would come in, haul down his food and then come downstairs, jump on the bed. I had an electric blanket and Jake would snuggle under the covers. I would then take the pillows and make him a little tent with the covers and pillows whereby he was nice and warm. However, Jake didn’t want a sleeping partner - it was a tent for one! He lived to 18 until a vet killed him during an operation. Cherish your fur babies!

@@SimontheSiameseCat One other thing - Jake was so bonded to me that anytime I was talking to a male human on the phone, he would sit near me and stare me down until I finally gave up and ended the conversation. Siamese cats ! They are the best. I had 2 siamese cats : Adèle and Chai. They were my babies. Adèle lived to be 17 y.o. and Chai 16 y.o. If someday I adopt another cat it will certainly be a siamese ❤😻😻 !

Usually they are very talkative , they also sing after they have something they really like, like fresh warm boiled pumkie , small piece of brocoli, a piece of the heart of an architoke . My cat live for many years . I suppose he was lucky because there was always someone at home paying him attention in spite of having two more cats . Y read that they are more prone to depression so is important someone stay at home as they are prone to depression.

A less than loquacious Siamese. That’s a first in my experiences. 😸

My George isn't a Siamese, just an ordinary mutt cat, but very smart. He knows what time it is and what I should be doing - to the point where if I try to have a lie-in on the weekend, he will use his head to push the bedclothes down off me to get me out of bed. I've never had a cat do that before.

Just a wee correction: you don't own Simon, he owns you😂😂 My God, can't believe how cute number one is 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 My middle cat is the same with his lil sister. He adopted her as his baby from day one, he protects her and looks after her all the time. Once I took her to the vet, I was struggling to get her into the bag, she was meowing and resisting, he came and hissed at me, like "leave my lil sister alone!" They make my heart melt. that's funny usually simionized kitties are talkers. they will talk your ear off sometimes, pair them up with a husky and you'll never be. Wanting for a debate or company

We used to have two half Persians (ginger longer hairs) and Moe who was supposed to be my wife’s cat decided that he would be mine. I used to wake up and h would be wrapped around my forearm. He was always rambunctious but when I had a heart bypass he was so gentle with me. Both cats have now passed so I am looking forward to retirement so that we can get another one.

I have a Seal Point Siamese cat with the same name that sounds like a 12-pack-a-day smoker.😅

Simon is Siamese and most are smarter than us humans.

We also have a cat who rarely meoew. If it isn't urgent she'll just sit and stare at you (next to her bowl) to give her food or (next to the door) to let her out.

Yes, Siamese are generally loners unless they were raised with a bunch of other cats or dogs. They choose when and if they will talk to you and when they wish to be interactive. My belated Siamese cat was the queen of the house but if there was a cat fight outdoors she would join in the ball of fur flying. She could be tough as nails when she wanted to be. I miss her so much. Thank you for sharing Simon. He brings back a lot of wonderful memories of my beautiful cat.

Our Siamese LOVED Popcorn too. He would wait for his while I was preparing it. we would go sit down in the living room and he'd get his handful. Also, if we didn't buy him his own McDonald's French Fries he would eat all of ours so it was better to get him a small order... lol

Lovely video!. Siamess do like taken the left over of another cat. I did have a siamess who died of all age and he will wait for my other cat to finish his plate and then he would eat all the left over. The funny thing was that the other cat who was not a siamess would wait for him to finish cleaning his plate. Cats are ceremonials!.

I’m blown away by how much Simon looks like Bear, my 15 lb, 6 1/2 YO Siamese. They could be twins except for the fact that Bear definitely has the Siamese talking characteristic down to a tee. Bear greets me vociferously if I enter a room where he’s in residence, unless he’s sleeping, of course. And if he wants something-food, attention, or a walk-he won’t hush. And yes, I walk him on a harness and he knows more tricks than any dog!

The fact that is so obviously seen is that Siamese is the most popular cat breeds. They're everywhere like 60%+ of cats in cat videos. But when you do a search for "popular cat breeds" Siamese is always discriminated from the real statistics and driven to be just in the bottom of top 10 or so.

Iv got to sealpoint lynspoint siamese they can get moody csapa seal point is moody lyns point is better. They traval with me got carvan call them the smartarse cat breed they backchat mine dont steel food but they open everythink

Nice sweet cats but FYI please do not pet animals on their head everyday all day 24/7 it gives them a headache and can become annoying just think if someone was petting your small head everyday not good pet them on their backs anyway good luck

Please DO NOT allow your cat to bite or scratch you, it's just bad cat manners. And if, God forbid, something happened to you it would be much harder to rehome him. He might even end up being put down.

Do you rescue cats or do you prioritise yourself and BUY EXPENSIVE BREEDS? 'ADOPT, DON'T SHOP.!' It is so sad to leave sweet animals in rescues instead of giving them a home. It's selfish.
