Yes, we all must value our own original place or country! I was originally from Hong Kong, then I thought Canada would be a better place to live. But, after 23 years, I can verify that Canada is actually a far worse place than Hong Kong due to its backwater mentality, corruption, sloppy administration, advocacy & subservient to criminals, with the pro-Muslim Mohammed selfie sinisterTrudeau as P.M., it is actually a doomsday 2nd class country!

We have a similar problem in Colombia, it has become a cultural problem where men think that they can have a bad behavior and the wife will stay. I decided to focus on other areas of my life instead of marrying one of those cheating men.

Now I living in Spain and here I work 9 hours per day but its only 6 month per year, salery is nice , but need safe money for winter time.

She follow me to Germany, but from time to time we visit her family there. My russian was more do signs with hands ands legs , her english well . her german terrible :). But we learn alot from eachother know. There is a difference between german and russian woman. but this is not important.

It is not one-sided until older. There are a lot more women than men over 65 but from birth to mid-30s there are more males than females like in every society.

Nonsense, Russians have most of the needs assured, survival is easier in Russia than the US. As someone who lived most of my life in the US and the last 21 years in Russia I can say is it much easier to have a good happy life in Russia, with more services than many in the US can afford. Stop watching propaganda and go visit Russia, you will be shocked how much the US lied to you. Thousands of Americans have moved here, usually for creating a family or for better quality of life and more personal freedom.

But the gender ratio of those under 35 have more men than women like in every society and only the elderly women outnumber men by a lot. If you are looking for a 65yo woman then you are in luck. But 24 yo, you have a lot of competition.

Deadly? Since 15 years of seat belt laws and zero tolerance for alcohol, driving has become far safer. Russia in the 90s was like the US in the 50s when the US had very death rates on the road. Since about 2005 it has been about the same as the US now. But with a lot less traffic because cities have good cheap clean safe public transportation. I could not live back home in California because of lack of public transportation and the sprawling suburbs but here in St Petersburg Russia I have lived a much better quality of life for 1/20th the cost of living and never needed or wanted a car. My total cost per month for a very active social and cultural life is about $50 including Uber late at night if too far to walk or with a date. Uber is about $0.50/mile here and within 2 miles are thousands of restaurants, drama theaters, on concert halls, dance clubs ballet or opera theaters, etc You have very dated opinions about Russia, it is much safer going out at night here than in the US so everyone is out, few people watch TV over 8 and under 60 yo, there is a lot to do and people are rather active.

As a German I can tell you that you have not so much clue about life over here if you believe that we are living as a gods. Wrong, let us speak about average mid class person with unfinished university (nowadays more and more students never finish University) would have about 1800 EUR per month of so called disposable income. I can tell you only about living in Berlin as it is my home town. Renting a really small two bedroom flat 60 - 70m2 would cost you cold about 800 EUR per month depending of the area. Utilities increase price considerably as hot water and heating can bring additional 300 EUR monthly costs, Electricity and gas will bring additional 150 EUR per month. Then you will spend about 100 EUR for food per week and that would all be about 1650 EUR of costs per month. with 150 you will need to entertain yourself, by cloths and footwear and that would leave you with a huge gap. You will need additional job to sustain your basic level of pleasure. Have a look at our statistics and you will realise that in Berlin only 40% of families have a vehicle and that we have the largest number of cyclists in Germany. These costs are lower average as if you avoid buying stuff in Lidl, Aldi, Penny, Rewe, and so on but you go to large, very large shops such as Kaufland and not to mention Karstadt than you would need much more money. So dear lady in Russia you have less money in EUR terms but I bet that your Underground train does not cost 2.80EUR one ticket. Well here it does, same is for Tram, bus, S Bahn and Trolleybus. Now think how much money is left here and how much in Russia.

Well okay, in Russia province city of a 5oo-1 mln population you'll get roughly 350 euros of income, 1 bedroom apartment to rent is 150-200 euros, so you are left with 150 a month for it all: food, clothes, health, entertainment. And the food is more expensive and is of poorer quality. Some doctors earn as low as 150 euros a month after taxes. So basically you are "not rich", but Russians are "poverty-stricken".

Lol try living in Eastern Europe, where the average wages per month are around 400-600 EUR (depending on the county and city). The food bill for one person is around 100 EUR a month if you buy discount foods and generic brands, while at the same time NEVER EVER GOING TO A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT (seriously only the rich can afford fast food here). Renting a shitty 3 room apartment with 2 other roommates will cost you 100 EUR + another 25 on utilities (50 if it's winter). A one month buss pass without a student discount will cost you around 30 EUR and it will get you close enough to most places in a medium to large city. So your bare minimal expenses are 100+125+30=255 a month, while living as an absolute degenerate with no social life. Good forbid if you need to buy some new shoes or have an actual life... The only reason why 1800 EUR seams little to you is because you don't know how to save money. Plenty of my friend went to work in UK for minimal wages and even the alcoholics came back with 5000 EUR in their bank account after less then a year.

@@hastamanana8696 That's a good question. Ukrainians have a pro-European mind while Russians still have communistic views and stereotypes. Ukrainian girls reportedly smile more, dance more, tend to wear skirts and high heels rather than only jeans like in Russia. Ukrainian brides cook much tastier food :) Russian women are a bit cold as lovers and Ukrainians the opposite. Hope I answered a bit.

WTF ?? i'm leaving in russia in Sankt-Petersburg ... i 've around 4 -6 friends who are jounger then 30 ,have a good job their own appartments , car e.t.c. .... even they have a problem to find some girls for wedding ... percentage ratio men and women which you said was in USSR after ww2 ...

You right.

I have been married for 45 and found love has nothing to do with marriage. You must like the person or it will not work. All can be worked out and love will come. Love at first sight rarely works over all. I visited Russia 20 years ago on 3 separate occasions for work and loved it there. The people were great and so helpful. The food is out of this world. I wish all those seeking love do find it and a partner for live. An old saying of my grandmother was a way to a mans heart is trough his stomach. I wish my wife could cook. God bless you all.

Some reasons why you wouldn't want me to immigrate to Russia. 1. You might consider me lazy when it comes to doing the chores; 2. I never married and I'm 72, so I'm probably not wanted by most women in Russia; 3. I would have a hard time learning both a new alphabet and language; 4. I'm happy enough where I am; 5. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Good luck to you, or God be with you.
