Love all the information you provide. I live in PA and will look around my area for highland beef, or a least local farmers/ranchers. Definitely going to start supporting small local businesses. Sorry it took me so long to come to this realization about my family’s meat consumption. Appreciate your channel so much!

There are a couple farms that should be ready to sell their beef. Many years ago I was buying highland beef from a farm in the Newville area but they now are out of business. I am looking myself so if you find a farm let me know.
We raised them in a meat is fantastic. That was the reason that originally brought me to the breed is I tried Highland beef, and after that I fell in love.
Well presented Rhett. All for keeping it local with low miles, low CO2, low fat, low cholesterol but superior taste, superb handling and high input from the local community. So…….let’s drop a few steers to be largely grass fed.
Great video. With food prices going up I decided to buy half a heifer from a local farmer which was grass raised to share with my 3 sons and their families. There are not many highland cows in my area and the 2 that I know of are pets. Video was very informative. Will share it on Facebook.
That was great information and thank you
I friggen love this channel🥰
Great learning video, thank you for sharing. Love following your videos! All the best.
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
Great information, Rhett. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for so much information. Never thought there was so many differences
Thanks for the informative video. I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and have enjoyed every new post you’ve made. Thanks for sharing and letting me tag along :)
Thank you for the lessons. we made efforts to buy at county fairs to support the 4H .
Well said!
They are too cute to eat.
Thanks for explaining the benefits of Highlands and grass fed cows! God bless 🙏
Great work! Super simple and clearly articulated ,no point meandering straight to the point! Thanks
I love Highlands too much h to eat them 😭
IMHO pushing Highland as 'lo fat' is to encourage old thinking: lo fat is 'yesterday' and (even though I have already put a deposit on a Highland steer), it's as much the fat as the muscle that I look for. Fat tastes fabulous, is nutritious, contributes to easier cooking and is a great source of energy - esp. for us carnivores!
Nice video and congratulations on #2!
Excellent video Rhett. You are very good at presenting an informative & sensible approach to this subject😊 I haven’t seen highland beef in my area of Australia, would definitely try it though. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
The farm I used to get highland beef from is sadly out of business because none of the kids wanted to farm. I am looking in my area so far I have not been able to. But I know there are farms that were working to be able to sell their beef. But I have not seen them yet.
❤❤❤
Great video Rhett. Couldn't agree more, buying highland beef and cattle to raise at pets is the best thing to do for supporting local small farmers and the breed as a whole. We do have a similar situation, we tell the kids were their food is coming from, and have cattle that we would not think of eating. There are some we have though, that we have for our or close friends and family to consume. Nice to know where your food is coming from, and how it was treated.
So how much grass, or acre of land does it take support a Highland Cowper year? Also how much water does a highland cow consume in a year?
Great information. God bless you and your family....🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀
Is it better than my scottish beef? Our highland beef? Or angus beef?
Good to see you Rhett. Thanks for the info. Hope you and your family are doing well. When is the baby due? Take care..much love to you all

You would love the lean meat of highlands.
From Norway here , but these are great reasons! Don't have to go Vegan to care about animals :) For some unknown reason, I'm banned from reddit. Somebody should post this to reddit, as i am unable.
Bravo! Well Said. :)❤🧡💛💚💙
Yes I loved watching Fred grow up from Adler farms he came from your farm I watched Chad get him and bring him to his place it was awesome although it didn't end the way we all thought it would we will always remember him as an awesome highland he had his own personality and he did his own thing in his time never in Chad's which was funny
And I had no idea that our beef come from them different countries that causes me very great concern thank you for the information because I would have never known that until now and I'm 60 years old so you can teach an old dog new tricks as they say
We would love to see an update on Bernadette and her baby

So, you will never eat any of the ones you raise? Do they process milk from Highlands?
Yeah Highlands have more oh my God I forgot but the thing you find in salmon
What’s the difference in Dexters and Hiland’s.
Garlic, salt and pepper.
It’s bad luck to name animals that are to be eaten, I don’t blame you though
They are too lovable to eat. Breed uglier cows.
