Thank you for showing the HALF LOG CABIN BLOCK! I am beginning a black and white quilt for one of my grand daughters from a photo. The only difference is that the whole quilt is made from two and a half in strips so mine will have two 2 1/2 inch center pieces. You explained it so well and now I can begin!
Nice tutorial. One thing though- it isn't necessary to use y seam in your on point table runner. If you assemble your rows on the diagonal, y seams aren't part of the assembly.
I love this quick method using a layer cake pack! TFS 🎂
What a great way to use layer cakes! Thanks to you & Helen for sharing!
Genius! I’ve been quilting for 40+ years and this is one of the best “shortcuts” I’ve seen. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Love these projects!!! Have lots of layer cakes in my stash!!!!
Yay! No waste and easy sewing. I have some Christmas layer cakes begging to be put together. This is perfect!
Wow, I love ALL your tutorials. You make everything seem simple. Thanks a whole BUNCH!!!😉
I appreciate the fact that you close your rotary blade as soon as you stop cutting each piece. Great example.
Thanks a lot for the tutorial! The quilt looks amazing!

What fun you are to watch!! This project is for any season. I will definitely keep an eye on your videos. Health and happiness to you and yours!!
Years ago I bought a skein of 100% wool to knit a large rectangle. Washed in hot water and dried at hottest setting, it shrunk much smaller and is very thick. makes a perfect ironing mat to keep close to my machine
