I was thinking Alexei Navalny is certainly part of it and also the bounty put on our troops by Putin. Putin is a cold blooded killer. He has no qualm in murdering any person who opposed him. We hear story after story of his atrocious acts.

Taking a minute here to chime in on my guy, Al Franken. He was doing the equivalent of a USO show to our troops overseas when that photo and his antics were "catalogued". Just like the Bob Hope tours of yesteryear, the dumb shows are risque, baudy and the dialogue is purposely nuanced with sexual overtones. That was a total hit job as we all know but it was at the time that Senator Franken, from Minnesota and a Harvard grad, was relentlessly grilling Jeff Sessions on the Senate floor and "they" wanted Franken out of there! Total hit job and Kirsten Gillibrand, in her zealous attempt to be bipartisan on sexual predators, badly misread the obvious set up of Al Franken and she spearheaded his downfall. And we all know what happened: he was blindsided and stripped of his senate seat and SHE lost any possibility of furthering her career. Okay. Back to you two wonderful readers! PS If you haven't googled Al Franken as Stuart Smalley on SNL back in the day Maryann, you'll laugh yourself silly!

I’m from MN, and I greatly miss Franken in the Senate. He had a way of uncovering lying Republicans all around. Roger Stone announced the Franken scandal before Franken even knew it. Stone couldn’t WAIT to announce his dirty trick. You are completely right. Democrats are still naive when dealing with Republicans who are dirty and evil. They need to wise up and trap the Republicans at their own game.

Little "Bush". I knew people from Texas where little Bush was governor before running for president. They referred to him as "Shrub".

Yes. You don’t see Republicans throwing their politicians to the wolves. Cuomo may need be brought up to date on manners but Gillibrand is awfully quick to crucify him for these claims, just as she did Franken. And I believe Franken was set up.

Al Franken was treated badly and unfairly. I will be a supporter for him. I admire him very much. Let's do this again really soon. You compliment each other and we greatly benefit from your combined talents.

Marianne, I just adore your channel. There are lots of channels on Tarot and mediumship readers. But yours is definitely my favorite. You are so intelligent so knowledgeable and when you do share your Channel with another reader they are also so competent and knowing. I adore doctor Victoria and you together. Some readers this last year seemed to combine their Channel with three or four more readers at the same time which I personally do not like. But I never comment negatively on anyone's Channel about anything. If I don't like a channel I just keep my mouth shut and go on. I always give a thumbs-up for their effort anyway. Gillibrand lost many Dems when she jumped on Franken! I was PIFFED when they did not give him the opportunity to defend himself! I saw nothing that disasterous to get rid of Franken! I knew immediately Cuomo was a setup, even though he is a jerk! Revenge for sure!

Networking, trust in other women, Supporting each other (and I mean especially in a not-family-related way) But the biggest problem might be: we still don't take our needs and role in these societies serious enough. We still wait too often for this white Knight... to save our day ... We still underestimate the strength we could be living...

I participated in the March4Justice event. It was empowering and I hope that the 'conversation' will gain traction and lead to much needed progress. Two things stood out in my mind from that day and they were; I noticed that there were many women/mothers who brought their young placard carrying sons with them. It was an amazing thing to see and I am sure will go far to improve equality and safety for women and the other in stark contrast was a young female bystander watching the parade pass by who made the comment " they (the marchers) shouldn't be allowed to disrupt the traffic". My heart broke for her. So we have hope but also we have a long a long road ahead of us. Love your reading by the way. Peace to you both.
