Sugar's fruit honestly sound like something a neglected child might think up. Forcing people who generally don't have time for you to play with you until your satisfied, no one will interrupt you as theyll be forgotten and never having to grow up. Fairly innocent from a child's perspective

@@bhabinbashyal honestly I've only read dressrossa once so I don't remember a whole lot about the contracts but from what I can recall It could be similar to how kids role play with their toys? Through contracts maybe the toys have to fulfill specific roles and commands like how you wouldn't expect a barbie doll at a tea party to start spontaneous battle rapping idk? Just like how sabo and ace use the mera mera slightly differently I'm sure something as specific as a contract could be adapted more innocently by a kid

One slave dies hoping Nika will save them but realizes before death that it was all a myth, giving rise to the real Nika through the fruit based on your theory on how they grow

The best positive spin I can give the creation of the a Hobi Hobi no Mi is that it's from an extremely traumatized child who just wanted bad people to go away and to forget they exist and leave them to their toys. The contractual part of the fruit comes from a certain devilish twisting of "playtime" where the child gets to do anything to the toys because real toys can't really object or consent to their treatment, only be controlled by the whims of the child. Out of this entire video, I think the Tequila Wolf theory is just awesome in the most messed up way. It's such a fucking perfect encapsulation of the horrors of the Celestial Dragons. It's something they would totally do, and there wouldn't even be a logical reason to the evilness, it's purely because they can do it.

Or maybe a toy maker who wants the world to forget the bad things/people and always be able to make people happy with their toys. In decent hands that MIGHT be something you could use for a somewhat good especially if it removes memories of bad things from people, but in the wrong hands you get its use in One Piece that we see.

A bridge is not the best way to prepare for a sinking world, but I assume there's a connection there.

Honestly, if you think about it, tequila wolf is actually a much worse place to be sent than Impel Down, at least in Impel Down you can easily escape by dying.

Concerning the evil dreams theory, I feel like you could probably explain most, if not all, those seemingly evil powers with children's dreams. Children will wish for the wildest things without thinking about consequences. Especially if they have been hurt or are suffering on some way. For example, a child might wish for the ability to remove memories because of the wish to remove some trauma, or maybe a child is overreacting because people won't play with them enough, so they wish for the ability to eternally play with them even if they don't want to, which might result in Sugar's DF.

I just realized: Remember the video about how many people both knowingly and unknowingly prepare for a flooded world? Making sure that Tequila Wolf is never finished is a great way to do so. You ensure that the techniques to build right at Sea are never lost to time.

Sugars fruit could just be the desire to be a child forever. The turning people into toys ability might not even have been an intentional part.

I really love the darker side of one piece, the eeriness of the series is subtle but enough to make you ask questions.

I've had something similar to that first theory going on in my head for a while, too. After all, we've seen "Dark King" Silvers Rayleigh. Why not (eventually) "Demon King" Roronoa Zoro?

S-snake is obviously smitten with luffy, so I could see the seraphim being let loose by york and she sides with the straw hats and escapes with them. Here are some theories: Laffitte and Big News Morgans are the same person. We've never seen Morgans in human form and we've never seen Laffitte in hybrid or zoan form. My theory on devil fruits being the wishes of past people is that the fruits aren't exactly what the person wants but rather an over the top or twisted way of fulfilling their desire. Like the hobby fruit, it could be derived from the wish of a child who wanted nothing more but to have as many toys as they want and to play with them forever.

I had already deduced the basic concept of "The Dark Desires Theory" when I first heard about Vegapunk's musings on Devil Fruits being born from desires/wishes. There are indeed Devil Fruits that were born of pure intentioned people with the desire to better the world, just as there were evil people wanting to destroy or enslave the world. The worst case scenario is Devil Fruits born of good intentions being perverted by current users with wicked and dangerous ideas for selfish gain, if not worse.

I think the world flooding is probably the best explenation for the bridge. We used to not have any answer but i think the world flooding is why it exists

I think many devil fruits are actually twisted interpretations of more innocent desires. Like, the hobby-hobby fruit could have formed from a desire to always have someone willing to play their games. Could have just been a lonely child who had trouble making friends. The orders you can give toys comes from the simple act of creating rules for the games you play.

I have always thought the D. stood for Dreamer. And that the D. Clan had the ability to manifest their dreams. Either like Luffy/Roger and make their dreams come true themselves, or now that we know Vegapunks theory about DF's literally manifest the power of their dreams as a fruit.

Actually the bridge itself proposes an even worse fate for a Pirate Theme World: Land. Easily defensible and predictable Land. In this world, it's far easier to handle highwaymen than pirates.

I have a different view on Soru Soru No Mi, it might also be used by a lonely person trying to make plants and buildings talk with him/her by providing his/her soul even if it shortens the user life, big mom taking donations and from enemy is misuse else she also use it by providing souls to plants and buildings "families" or something making all lively. that's sure for someone who fears loneliness.
