Your summary of life at the end had me in tears. I am a 63 yr old woman - still having my solo outdoor camping adventures in New Zealand, living life to its fullest. My husband and family don't understand what the pull is, but you described it beautifully. Brilliant video wild trekking good name for it. I caught it on the Natasha and Debbie page and they certainly enjoyed it. as I commented there it took me back 50 years when myself and a few friends were walking and camping those same trails. We tried the 14 peaks walk a few times but weather always got in the way :) Eventually we did it but over 2 days not one.

Sometimes we forget what a beautiful world we live in

What a nice excursion. Wales is such a beautiful country during summer so thanks for taking us on your adventure!

uhh Claire...that was epic! On a par with your 3 days in the Rhinogs , and that's saying something. I just absolutely love your films. I'm just an old codger of 77 years so my days of hiking and wild-camping are over, but, as you say, the memories DO stay with you for a lifetime. You are such an inspiration, and your editing skills, music-choices are the best; but most of all, what shines through is your beautiful personality. Making memories is surely what life's about eh. I wish you many years of the same, and thanks for sharing these moments. :)

Absolutely loved this one! The bit at the end... explaining your everyday life and having moments of being on adventure... made me tear up a bit! It's so easy to get lost in the day to day... especially being a parent (on top of all the other adult responsibilities), there's always so much to do for everyone else, we often forget about ourselves. I've actually learned allot from you channel.... not just the adventure bits, but also reminding me to turn inward, to be content/find happiness within myself, and enjoy the little things just as much if not more than the big things. It's not about having all these expensive material things, but the happiness and gratitude of the everyday.

Haven't been to Snowdonia since I was at school in the UK over 50 years ago before I left to live in Australia. Your hiking and camping experiences are vastly different to those I encounter. You spend lots of time with magnificent views whereas my time is frequently spent bashing through dense bushland with the views earned only after breaking out onto alpine heath above 1000m asl. Inspiring videos. Look forward to those that follow.

Oh Claire, the ending brought a tear to my eye, you are such a beautiful person in and out and your videos make my heart glad. The smile on your son’s face tells you exactly what a wonderful person you are, indeed it was his smile that did it for me, you’re doing a wonderful job as Mum, provider and adventurer. If truth be known, your videos are my guilty pleasure; my comfort food. Having 10 grandchildren and constantly looking after 3, 4 or 5 of them on a daily basis is stressful at times. One in particular, (21 month old) is so clingy to me that he is a proper Gang’s boy and a handful at times. At the end of a long day looking after the grandchildren your videos totally de-stress me and take me to a different world. I'm sitting here watching your wonderful hiking adventure in an area I know would be absolutely refreshing here in the California foothills where I live. In the summers, our hot and dry weather with temps in the high 30s- to mid 40s Centigrade. Today it's cooler, only 98° F and we got clouds in the AM. I've been to England, the midlands to Yorkshire and Sheffield, for a week in 1993. I took my son on a 2 week adventure soccer club excursion from the U.S. ( Pacifica, Ca) to England and Ireland another week. It was pretty cold, March and April. The weather off the North Atlantic reminded me of how much milder it was at home. I often thought about one day going back to do some hiking in the Lakes region, not knowing how gorgeous Wales was. I would love to hike around Snowdonia. That waterfall and little ponds looked luscious, especially now where our lakes and streams are in drought. Are you Welsh? I have some Welsh, but also Irish and a tad of Scottish too. Any way, I'm glad I found your channel. I did subscribe. Your very artistic and did a wonderful job at editing your video. It's a masterpiece. Thank you for taking the time to read my message. God Bless you, from Calaveras county, California. By the way, was your trek done during your recent heat wave? Need to get back to Snowdon sometime soon, it’s so stunning 😊 I’ll be exploring Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro at the end of August so can’t wait for that, so many beautiful waterfalls in the balkans too ☺️

It's rare for me to comment on videos such as this, but that brought back so many memories of my time spent trekking and camping in both Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, and it was so beautifully filmed. Thank you.
