3: Narrowboat DIY - Bilge De-rusting and Vactan
We removed the ballast and insulation in the bow end of the bilge, sanded/chiselled the rust and put a layer of vactan on it. There's also a little bit of Gaz doing some rewiring of the plugs.
We are Ash and Gaz, two self-employed performers living on our narrowboat while we do an (almost) complete DIY overhaul. We also write and play music as Butterfly Moon.

not seen under floor mains before on a boat lol. Think maybe replace it with arctic blue anyway?

It’s not supposed to be on the floor 😂 It used to trail down the gunwales I think but we’ve just got everything everywhere at the moment! In fact, thinking about it, some of it did actually run along the top of the subfloor. Lots to change 😂
