She must have filmed in Harajuku at like 8am as, otherwise, it is never that free of people.

From my experience, visit asakusa and skip the other 2 if you're a guy. Also visit akihabara and odaiba marine park and it's neighbourhood

I wouldn't say just skip the other 2 as a guy. Depends on what you wanna see. I'm gonna personally go to all whilst I'm there in June to just experience as much as I can

@@Enshin1006 from my experience those places are great for a girl, but kinda boring for a guy. But it always depends on taste and what you are planing to do of course. The other places I said are more interesting for guys though

Ginza has some of the top-tier sushi restaurants around.🍣 Sure, you'll have to shell out a few hundred dollars, but it's totally worth it. Just make sure to book a reservation.

I tried shopping at Ginza Nike, and if they don’t like you, they will tell you they are sold out. I literally tried to buy a size 9 shoe, they declined me and said they only have size 10, when clearly the one on display was a size 9.

If you go to Tokyo and that is where you go you will have missed essentially everything that makes Japan special. Instead, visit Sengaku-ji and see the graves of Asano Naganori and the 47 ronin and learn the story that is foundational to so much of Japanese culture. Go to Shibuya station and learn about Hachiko. Then don't go into any big flashy tourist spots for food. Never. Those places are universally over charging for bad food. Go into the places the locals eat at. If it has a vending machine for ordering and the place looks like it might collapse at any moment then you're in the right spot.

You can survive with no Japanese in the big cities, no problem. Speaking a little Japanese helps you to be polite, and the smiles of the locals are worth it. There are a number of great videos out there that cover exactly this problem.

hey, do you know why i came all the way to japan? To go into a shopping centre. apparently... there are no other shopping centers on the world... people have too much free time. i have a proposal. put someone blindfold in the midst of tokyo and tell him to guess in what country he is. okay to be fair, the kanji everywhere are a bit of a cheat... but on the other hand... most people, me included, can't differentiate between chinese and japanese letters. or korean. or whatever.
