I love all of your videos! I’ve learned so much in such a short period of time from watching. Up until now I hadn’t taken my drumming too seriously, but you really inspire to get my act together and start playing like a real drummer 🙏😊

Your tutorials are so easy to learn from and from these 3 fills the last one was definetly my favourite with the 1 hit on snare 1 on high tom and 2 on low tom! Love these videos and ive been able to learn SO much in a very short period. :D

Oh my my word, at last a teacher that acknowledges the existence of us lefty drummers! Thank you. I find your tutorials easy and clear to follow, and I’ll keep watching them in the practice studio.

I'm a lefty, but I play like a righty. Mainly because I had to play on someone else's kit when I was still learning ahd he was a righty. Same reason I play golf right handed lol. But, us lefties are far more versatile so....

I'm Curious Emma.... How long have you been Playing Drums? I'm 72 yo, a retired guy who resurrected playing Drums after a 50 Year Hiatus in 2019. I've learned much from your videos (and from some others to be fair). But You are a great teacher with good practical applications and explanations. FWIW, since my resurrection, I am learning so much more now compared to way back when in 1967 when I started as a 16 yo [Thank You Ringo , Charlie Watts, Dave Clark and Dini Danelli]. Later on Ginger Baker and Keith Moon and lots of others. I thank You Tube for that!!

The problem with your videos is that now I think I’m a drummer and have to buy a kit. Have a practice pad on order! Hoping to learn a bit and teach my daughters.

Your videos are great .As an old bastard that has been playing 50 plus years I teach a bunch of young kids the basics then send them off to the flash guys to get their chops up . Your videos are concise , informative and apparently really easy for the young folks to get their heads around. I have recommended your vids to my students and they love them ... I may have done myself out of a gig . Keep up your excellent work

Coming back from a 2 year hiatus from playing and I started searching for good channels to help me remember or learn new fills and I came across some of your shorts leading me to your channel. Excellent teaching style and simple breakdowns of sticking in short videos has me perusing your whole channel. Definitely appreciate the content!

I really love your videos. They are very useful and very easy to follow. Also you do more drumming than talking, which many others don’t. You are light and I imagine, a very funny person which comes through in your videos but you stick to the drumming. Nothing personal but too many videos have the dude telling us his life’s history.

Went looking for a helter-skelter tutorial and stayed for a few more vids. As an old musician (guitars keys bass vocals et al) I recently got a drum kit for our music room for shits and giggles and have been enjoying learning. There’s lots of good content out there but you have a really good informative, succinct and relaxed approach. Liked ans subscribed. 🙂❤️

For the second fill, play a single 8th note on the snare on beat 3 instead of two 16th notes, and hit the rack tom both times (& of 3 and & of 4), and you have the fill known in the studio world as "Pat Boone, Debbie Boone."

Thanks really enjoying your videos (and humour), I’m a newbie to drumming (although very old now😅) and I’ve not come across the count 4e+a before. Just the 1 and 2 and 3…… would you have time to comment? Why not just use the 1 and 2 and 3……? Thanks again, from an old geezer.

    4e+a is just a way to notate the 16th notes, "1 2 3 4 are quarters, "+"'s are the 8th notes, "e" & "a" are the 16ths
