I had the wrong angle on the 50/50. The trapping of the hip with the shrimp out is so good. Details details details.

Congrats to Matt on his promotion. I notice he has a brand new brown belt on. I do the armbar from back all the time and you just gave me some key details which explains why my success rate isn’t higher. Great content and one of my favourite channels! 🙏🏼👏

From where exactly, depends where the attacks coming from the grips might change little bit. But you always end up with the same grips in the end BIG OSS

Single Arm Rear Naked Strangle. Everyone expects you to finish with a 2 arm RNS, but I'm working on getting better at finishing it with just 1 arm around the neck. Leaving your other arm free to defend and peel off any attacking arms. Another one which I've had limited success with is triangle from side-control bottom. Then with the triangle in place, locking up a Kimura on the closest arm. A Trimura :D Maybe not high percentage, but certainly surprised them and at least they might get off you in side control :)
