Really cool tips and tricks. I don’t have the Pro version, but will make do. The compound clip feature is so neat. I am currently wrapping up a video with many layers and it can get so messy and confusing. So to have the option to just make it one bar on the timeline is very helpful.

I bought your course and I have to say, it's one of the best courses I've taken. There's so many helpful tidbits like the keyboard shortcuts as well as the simple explanations as to what all the things actually mean. I know i'll be watching it over and over again. The course + your channel = I'm a much more confident editor now. Just wanted to let you know, because I'm a big believer in letting folks know when they did good 🤣

Brilliant, thanks. I've just used this effect in the video I'm about to upload. I was using sandpaper on a DIY job on my campervan, them remembered I had an electric sander, so I called it like Thor's hammer lol. Well it made me and the Mrs laugh anyway :)

Hey Trevor, I'm probably going to pull the trigger on your course but, was wondering if you could do a few super hero type tutorials? Things like Thor landing with the electricity all around him, Flash running fast and then slowed down to slow mo etc. I would love to see how to do these things step by step on The desktop version of Capcut the one we download onto our computers. I've watched some others but they either go to fast don't show certain things or lose me because they do it in the App and my eyes are to old for that lol. Anyway love your stuff as I can understand and follow you easily and you have a great personality to go along with it.

CapCut has limited sfx. Mine are just a few more that I like and use. You can use them wherever you want.

Hi ,Trevor…I have a question that’s not regarding this video. I’ve been working on a larger project in Capcut desktop..my memory on the Mac only has 16G’left…and not enough juice to export. I’ve noticed in the Mac’s memory that Capcut Cache,( cacheagency) has over 65G, can I clear the cache there, and in The Capcut desktop and not affect the project or project that I have currently there. All videos on KZread are about how to clear cache, but not how it affects your projects. Thank you,

Yes. Clear it. You may just have to redownload elements you have in that project. Also close all apps and restart your computer.

@@TrevorJonescreator one more question please for clarity, not only this project which is a short documentary that has 5 days of filming and so many clips , transitions, stock footage, and music.. but other projects that I have that are assembled from many other media files., and clips, like for instance my Creative Reel. Does it mean that I would have to connect every single clip, photo, ? Would I get the red timelines on all of my projects? Many articles detail “just don’t delete your data “ , sorry for the long winded question. And thank you again in advance.

The YT algorithm is super funky. If a person isn't subbed to his channel, it might not pop up in their feed. Trev's videos always pop up for me because I'm a subscriber, I guess.

@@kenromero9236 it’s the Mrs . Trevor here Leila - we have a real green screen . It’s super easy to use retractable. If you are interested I’ll get you a link. I’ve worked with green screens for years ( pro photographer) this a a good easy - wrinkle resistant green screen - wrinkles are a pain to get even lighting.
