It’s great to have you guys back! I’ve been lusting after the calipers for a long time!
Came across your channel from Stew Mac. Love how in depth your videos are. Gaining knowledge from experts is the best gift for me. I’ve already used your Zpoxy Resin trick and it’s soooo much better than any other pore filler I’ve tried. Keep up the great work!
You guys really do a great job explaining the details needed to get it right. Long time player and just starting out and need it all. Thanks for the master level guidance.
Of the 3 different tools, I find the fret slotting jig the most useful to me. I have been terrified of cutting slots free hand and it has been a stopping point for me for a long time. You guys provide such a great service to those of us who are either learning or brushing up on our skills. Thank you
Oh man, those tools would be awesome additions to the shop. Thanks guys for putting all the great content out. It's super helpful and I've learned many important lessons already. Thanks again!
Fret miter box and saw! I could definitely use on of those setups! I really love this series, I think there's a lot of people stuck trying to get to the next level and just aren't sure what will help them get there and what to invest in. Super cool that you guys have partnered with stewmac and clearly it's to the benefit of the entire community!
Binding Jig~! What an amazing tool for Acoustic binding. I've been hesitant to do acoustics for lack of the 'right' tools. This jig seems fantastic. hopefully no more tear-out and uneven thicknesses. Guys thank you for thinking about small builders like us. Keep the videos coming. Your transparency and integrity are refreshing.
Hi Chris, hi Matt! I took guitar in my hand for the first time when I was 48 y.o. and fall in love with this instrument… Since then I’ve been dreaming of building a classical guitar by myself. Your channel is a big support for the people like me. I don’t have all the needed tools yet and hope to start with building my guitar next year. Getting the Truechannel Binding Router Jig would allow me to start this year))) Thank you guys! Best regards from Belarus 🇧🇾
that fret slotting mitre box looks like a work of art just by itself
Wow, super nice of Stew Mac and you to show and share these. For me the best help would be a miter for frets. The tools I use are sometimes perfect but usually someway to make things work. The frets need to work. This would be a huge help. Great channel guys.
Wow - I’d LOVE that fret mitre box and saw! I’m disabled and cannot work, so obtaining ANY quality tool a financial struggle. I’m building up a good collection… but very gradually as I find I can no longer live without them as alternative methods are just physically too much for me. Thanks for the videos - your finishing series recently was the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen - a really good job!
I'm so happy I found your channel. I think it's great that you are passing on great techniques and details for building guitars. I would love to have the fret saw and miter box
Great to see your generosity to help others!
The binding jig would be awesome to have. You are so right, the binding is and can be difficult. Yes ,yes , I would be so pleased to have this! Hoping my luck is good! Enjoy all your episodes. I check daily for your exceptional teachings.
Thanks for doing what you do. Have been enjoying the content. This Binding jig is on my wish list. You will make someone, or me, very happy with these tools.
Holy Moly! I totally want that binding jig! Thanks for all your videos.
Any of these "kits" would be a blessing to have! So nice of you guys giving this stuff away.
Your videos are awesome! Thank you so much. The binding jig set up would be perfect in my shop!
You guys are awesome, keep up the great videos. The binding jig would make an awesome addition to my goal to building acoustic guitars. Thanks do much for the instructional videos.
Good morning guys...I recently discovered your you tube channel and must say very very impressed..thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and thoughts. I am retired and was introduced to guitar building when I was a teen age kid by a friend of mine who learned to build guitars by a luthier here in Maine. He came back from school and showed myself and one other friend to build..well life happened and I dropped it..but the fire to build never died..fast forward to today and after my almost stage 4 colon cancer almost took my life..I stated building again.:) anyway I would be interested in the binding set up...it's the one thing besides set up that gives me trouble. All the tools are awesome and just want to say thanks guys...keep up the good work..you are helping so many❤
The fret slotting jig, binding jig, and caliper would all make great additions to my shop. I love the channel, please keep up the great work!
Great explanation about the StewMac Thickness Caliper - certainly a very precise “step up” from other ways to measure in these situations - I’d certainly be OVERJOYED to have it! Keep up the great vids!
This is very cool of both you and StewMac! The StewMac True Channel binding jig is something that will be a game changer for installing binding!
That binding jig looks awesome, That would be a great asset , thx for what you guys do !!
Thanks for all the great videos! I'd love that fret slotting jig!
Love the videos I’m all caught up now so keep them coming. That binding would be so amazing. Thanks
I would absolutely love the fret slotting miter box. I built my first guitar “from scratch” this past summer, however it was a pre-slotted board. I’ve got my plans for my next one this spring and this time I’d like to make the whole thing truest from scratch. Thanks so much for your channel!
Enjoying your videos. I'm a 62 yr old budding luthier in the Grand Canyon State and would be pumped to be able to up the accuracy of my binding work. Keep the videos coming. Very helpful for likes of luthier wannabes like me. Cheers. Scott
Wow guys, thanks for continuing with tool recommends. I would love to be considered for the thickness caliper. I'm starting (trying) to build arch top mandolins and that would be an amazing step up for sure. Keep on educating those of us that are trying in a small way to keep the craft moving forward.
Would love that binding jig! I’ve definitely struggled with uniform thickness on the back of guitars with just router base! Love the channel and all the amazing information you share.
Hi Gents - I'm just about halfway through my 1st acoustic build, and I'm hooked. I hear you on the binding woes, and I have a little 'character' on my 1st build that I'm learning to live with 🙂 Given that, the binding jig would be a godsend, and I even already have the Colt router! Great channel guys, and I'm loving every video...you are making some great content.
Excellent as usual fellas! These are some cool tools. That binding jig would be real cool!
Thank you Chris and Mat fir a very good channel. I really want that routering jig. It would be perfect for my next step on my dreadnought guitar build.
Just bought the routing jig a month or so ago, and I'm loving it. Chris is right about the learning curve, but once you have it down it works great. Congrats to whomever wins this one! Be sure to throw a coat of finish & a coat of paste wax onto the bottom of the jig and the top of your work surface so it glides well.

Yeah, I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a binding jig this year. I've had the old dremel attachment from Stew Mac for like 25 years!
This is very cool of both you and StewMac! The StewMac Thickness Caliper is definitely a tool that will help me to get a guitar top the right thickness!
I am beginning on the guitar building hobby, Have made my first guitar completely by hand and I found the fret slot did and the saw is something I really need.
That binding jig/router combo is something I've had my eye on for a couple of years. Would love to get one this way. Thanks for your videos!
Great recommendations. You make quality content that has helped me a lot, not just with guitars, but in woodworking too. I would love that fret slotting miter box jig. I've actually had my eye on it for a while but I'm hesitant to drop that much on a jig!
I just about purchased a thickness caliper the other day, but I decided to wait. Winning one would definitely help a lot. Thanks for all content.
Thanks for the channel. Currently on my 3rd acoustic and started cutting the binding with a jig I’d made yesterday. Aborted half way through and now doing by hand with a tool I made. I’d love the binding jig if it was to come my way. Keep the vids coming, im learning loads.
Thanks gents for this series. I bought the Stewmac thickness gauge a little while ago when ir was on sale. A great unit. I am working with hand planes and scrapers. The gauge is really helping. I can wait on the binding unit. I am building acoustic bass guitars similar to the old Ernie Ball Earthwoods. No radius on front or back. I am thinking I will eventually try to radius one or both. After I get better at building. But for now, the binding jig is not vital. But I could really use the fret miter box. I bought one used from a retiring luthier. But it is a really old one. None of the fancy depth or saw giides. The updated unit is so much better. Thanks and keep the videos coming. Really cool to see you working with StewMac.
This is very cool of both you and StewMac! I have a router, but I'm still new to using it. The StewMac Binding Router Bit Set will open lots of opportunities for me to up my game!
Thanks again guys for another great video.
Would love the fretting jig. I am looking to get into building guitars and I think this would really help me out to eliminate some beginner issues. Thanks guys. I really enjoy your channel. Been wanting to build an instrument for years and I just didn't know where to start. You guys are very informative. Keep it up.
Fantastic content! The fretting jig would just be incredible... a true dream. I think this must be truly useful for my multiscale guitar project.
Thank you Chris and Matt for your generosity, not only in education but also with these giveaways. That fret slotting miter jig would add a level of accuracy that I haven't been able to achieve freehand. Sign me up please!
Love the channel and am just starting out so would love the fretting jig. Thanks for the great content.
Sweet video. I could really go for that binding jig. What an incredible product, hard to imagine how to do that work without one!
I would love the binding jig setup. I have struggled with doing binding and this would make my life so much easier. Thanks to you guys and stewmac for doing these giveaways!
Love your channel. I've learned a lot of building techniques from you guys. Been building for about two years and my fret slots leave a lot to be desired. The fret slotting miter box kit would help improve my builds. Thanks for your consideration.
The fret slotting mitre box would really be a blessing for me. Keep making these vids, guys!
The tools are great and I really enjoy your videos.
Agree100% on your comments about bindings. It's what I struggle with the most. Could really use that's up. Keep up the good work!
All three of these tools are on my wish list. The fret slotting jig would be a great addition. Great video...as always.

I'm loving the content. The miter box and saw would be fantastic.
Great video guys love your work
Thickness Caliper would be a perfect tool to add to what I have now. Thanks for these wonderful videos blokes. We are all learning a lot. Cheers!
Great video, “as always” like Matt’s presentation lol. I’m starting on guitar building so any of the three options will be great for me. Hope to get one. Thanks guys for creating such an amazing channel
The fret slot jig is ace. Could really help me out with my builds. Great work guy’s 👍

Wooo! That binding jig is awesome!
Chris and Matt, thanks again for all of the inspiration and help on your channel. I’m definitely interested in the binging jig to use for binding an acoustic guitar this year. I could also use it for double binging my electric build too. Thanks y’all!
Fantastic show guys. I could use any of the items you presented. The binding jig is really nice. Thanks, take care.
Chris and Matt always great to watch all your videos. Would love to get the fret mitre box and saw. Also, loved the finish series, had to watch it many times!!!
Hey guys… I’ve been using an old homemade version of this binding jig, and would really like to upgrade…along with replacing the worn-out set of bearings that I’ve been using. Thank you for the opportunity to upgrade without dipping into the coffers.
I would love the binding jig. I've been holding off buying one but could really use it now so I can start improving my game. Loving these giveaways by the way and your finishing series was great. Keep up the quality content guys!
The fret slotting kit would killer! Love your guitars and channel! Keep it coming!!
Thanks for the great videos. Winning the binding jig would really improve my binding channels.
The binding jig is on my wishlist. Love your channel.
Hello guys, Thanks so much for all the content and what your doing in terms of helping all of us out with the learning and giveaways. The routing/binding jig would be a big leap forward for me with speed and accuracy. I'm on my 21st build and trying to make this a full time job. A tool like this would certainly help me out to the next level, It's been on my mental wishlist for quite some time now. Keep up the great work and awesome videos. Regards Samuel
I could use any of these tools! They would definitely step up my game on all my builds! So true, what you said about the costs of getting into building instruments!
Miter Box (that's what she said) kit. Most of my tools are Diy. Always by pre slotted fret boards. Deffinately want to start making my own... Love what you guys are doing thanks for sharing!
Hey guys, I love your channel. Thank you for making great content. You inspired me to get into guitar building. I’d love to have the binding jig.
I’ve built 2 electrics and about to cut the fingerboard slots for the 3rd acoustic very soon. Up to now I’ve clamped a bit of wood to guide the saw for each cut. The fret cutting jig would be a god send. Looking forward to more arm bevel and inlay videos ! Keep em coming guys
Brilliant give away. I would love the binding jig and router. It would help me out no end. Thanks for the videos 👍
Love you guys. I have dabbled in woodwork, but I am able to learn from you and enjoy your videos, so I am stoked to have found your channel and step up my game. I would love to have that thickness gage to better voice my tops. It is great that there is still a niche for hand-built guitars, and voicing seems to be it. A thickness gage seems like the way to go to step up my voicing game!!!.
I could definitely use the fret slotting miter jig and saw. Love the channel guys!
I'm not a guitar builder but i'm watching your videos and learn a lot from them. I am a tambura maker ( tambura is the traditional instrument of Croatia and Serbia). I am glad that i can apply your knowledge of guitars to tambura, because the construction of guitars and tamburas is almost the same, there are some diffrences. I would love to have a stewmac thickness caliper. Greetings from Croatia
The binding jig would be such a big help to have. I love the channel and the content very admirable work and inspirational
On #6 so feel like an intermediate. Fret slotting jig would really help. Thanks for all the content. You guys are great.
The fret slotting jig would be absolutely amazing. Embarking on my first neck build very soon and this is on my wish list from stewmac!
Good stuff. I really like the mitre box. Looks like it’s built like a tank. Great video!
This mitter box is just beauty!!! I Wish have this one! Great video with aerosol spray by the way!!!
Guys I would LOVE to have these tools ,I'm a working man like everybody else here and will be a happy builder. Thanks guys for all your videos you have out too.
I would love to have the miter box and saw. The quality of that piece is truly amazing. Thanks for doing your very helpful channel.
I'd love the Fret Slotting Miter Box. Great Channel by the way guys!
Hi Chris and Matt! Once again thank you so much for the Aerosol Guitar Finishing tips you did! That series was legit good and helpful! I must say having that Fret slotting jig will be an absolute godsend, I'm still using a straight edge with hand saw technique. Having that slotting jig would for sure help the " *_New Me_* ". Thanks for the amazing content! Cheerz from South Africa 🤘
Btw, absolutely LOVE your videos. They're very informative and fun to watch!
Hell yes I need a fret slotting jig! Thanks for the awesome info fellas!
And that binding jig too! it is always a daunting task for me!
Fabulous video and tutorial (as always)! I’d love to have the StewMac Fret Slotting Miter Box as it makes this intricate step a “piece of cake!” - the lifetime replacement guarantee is just the Cherry on Top!
I like the fret slotting tool. Especially the saw. I have been looking for a fret-slotting saw and this setup would be a great addition to my tolls.
These tools would be awesome. I'm just starting out and need tools. Your videos are awesome and very helpful.
I could really use the binding jig. Awesome you guys could do this to help out starting builders.
