Wearing 2 pairs of glasses at the same time, so I can use my Mr Puffin magma orange driving glasses (Plano) over my prescription glasses. (Not really using contacts anymore)🧐

Going through puberty with glasses are the literal worst. My nose always gets sweaty/greasy and my glasses slide down my nose and sometimes off my nose. Every 5 minutes I have to wipe me nose off so the glasss will stay

Me too and when I switch to contact lenses every so often, I look like a maniac.

Another is taking your glasses off with one hand! Often over time causes breakage on one temple 💔

I broke like...3 pairs of glasses with that habit. Finally paid off tho now I always take them off with both hands lol.

I have been known to dangle my glasses on the end of my nose like Hercule Poirot when solving a mystery but I won't any more after watching this Robert!

That's a problem i would like to have ...i have short eyelashes😭and they r soo weak but i still wear my glasses kinda low idk why ...must be nice having long eyelashes 😅

Friends tell me they know putting glasses/sunglasses on their head is a bad habit & bad for the frames & lenses. But they choose to do it anyways.

Thanks for your excellent caution on wearing bad glasses! Sarting to wear an excessively strong minus lens, is a bad habit. I always creates more myopia. I learned that objective science, the hard way

Number 1 is my wooooorst bad glasses habit. Like I use it to shove my hair away from my face or if I am lazy to put them somewhere, better make it a headband for a few minutes.

Also make sure to take the lenses out and leave them In a bowl of toothpaste overnight. It helps a lot and removes all scratches and marks overnight

When my glasses got stolen I got on a mission to improve my eyesight so I won't EVER need them AGAIN. How to prevent wearing glasses/ improve eyesight * AVOID screen time 1/2 hours BEFORE bedtime- if u sleep very late KNOW THIS that your whole life WILL CHANGE once you START sleeping on time.- avoid eating dinner after 6pm is a START. * sleep in the DARK- NO lamps/ night lights on *DO eye Exercises 5 mins to start then 3x a day ( KZread videos on eye yoga/ we exercises. *reduce sugar intake n fizzy junk foods *( SECRET from an optition) go out more in daylight. WALK outside/ go to the Garden MORE. *Put cold compress on eye lids before breakfast * eye Exercises. *eat great iron fortified foods such as beetroot/ spinach that teams up with oranges (VIT C) or carrots. * AVOID screen time before bed.

But if I wear my glasses proplerly they end up leaving dark spots on that place What to do?

I don’t understand how the last soldier was supposed to do differently to know that his car had a bomb in it. Was he supposed to be more alert in the alternate scenario and therefore noticed something unusual? That things had possibly been moved around inside or something? That’s something about the lock was odd? I thought the advice was going to have something to do with receiving the items from the neighbor, or talking to the neighbor about the husband’s occupation. Although that can be pretty hard to hide if he is walking around in the uniform, even if at night. The rest of the advice seemed more clear.

Hi there i'm darren chong and i've seen your videos based on wearing your glasses in a bad habit way . Now i happened to noticed this everytime especially my cousin . She's a college tutor in australia and whenever we tried to video call with each other she always puts on her glasses on the end tip of her nose and when i asked her why she told me that it's just for a fashion statement she even told me that her friends also did it . And during the last few weeks i tried to put on my glasses on the tip end of my nose and when i go to school a few years back with the way how i wore my glasses , all of my friends giggle and asked why i wore my glasses like that and they said that i look like a 65 year old grandpa what a joke i told them and now that i'm 21 i still had the same glasses that i used to wore back during my highschool career . I haven't bought a new one due to low budget but until then i'm still wondering should i wear my old glasses at the end tip of my nose or right on my face or on my nose bridge what do you think ? Please give me a suggestion thanks

Unfortunately no they have to rest on both but if the glasses are fitted correctly on the ears then they shouldn't slip down the nose.

Don’t forget that if you wear hair products as well some the abrasive ones can damage the AR coatings on the back of lenses. Yet another reason not to do number 1.

Perhaps you could try getting them adjusted by your local optician

Another one is wearing distance glasses up close Another one is wearing lenses that are full strength or stronger instead of a slight reduction and active focusing

Yeah but what if you’re copying notes in class, you have your diffs slipped down on your nose to see the paper without lens induced myopia, and you have your norms higher up on your eyes to see the board? Obviously don’t overdo those up and down eye movements and definitely balance them out with all other directions so you don’t get vertical astigmatism, but still though Or if you’re looking at your phone, you have to slip your sports goggles up off of your eyes to look at it without getting lens induced myopia or Ciliary spasm. And sports goggles are better because they have a strap, don’t break; and the temples can just bend back in shape, the strap keeps them on, and you can loosen/tighten the strap, plus they stay right above your eyes with the strap tight.

Unfortunately, when I put my glasses right up at the top of my nose, my LONG LUSCIOUS MANLASHES brush my lenses, putting smudges there. 3/4 up as as high as I can go with some frames.

I've avoided these habits for 65 years. Also be careful what you use to clean the lenses, many fabrics can also scratch them.

U forgot taking them off with one hand..stretched my glasses out real good doing that and they started to always slip

These are all preference, esp the first one about wearing them on the head. That’s your opinion that it looks bad Number 2 was to avoid looking “old fashioned “ Number 3 was good and helpful but the first 2 are preference

When I look to the side (without turning my head) while wearing glasses I see weird circles that look like a reflection of what's inside my eye. Can't really explain it. What is this shit?

For me the perfect placement is just on the top of the nose, about 1cm away from the eyebrows. There's nothing worse than having eyebrow marks on your lenses

I work as an optician and oh boy, besides the things he said, i cant stand it when people put their sunglasses on the back of their head. Its not necessarily a bad thing but it just looks stupid as hell
