Just found your channel and I feel like I'm watching myself over the years. Had every length, bleached, colour and numerous pixie grow outs, mostly DIY'd over the last 20 years. The longest style I've had to date was dreadlocks for 8yrs. I've been growing out my hair for the last 18+ months from buzzed, on request of my husband. Who has eye rolled & put up with all of my impulsive hair decisions 😂 The pain of growing hair out is real and I have to lock the clippers away. Yet I still dream of getting them out & going short again, even now. Trying to embrace my 2b/c, with the odd random 3a spiral hair; which I've recently found I actually have, after the maaaaany years of abuse! Keep going, you look beautiful in every evolution, you've got this!💪🥰

I told myself that this time I will really grow my hair, and just let it be in its natural form. I've been through 4 pixie growouts now, actually, this is the 5th and I am done 🤣 It's nice for a few months, but then I always start missing my longer hair. Now I mainly wear caps, because I don't feel like styling this weird length every morning. Good to know I am not alone 🤪

Time to buzz the nape again and re-establish the weight line and style it as a micro bob
