Y’all so dramatic about it like when I got mine I was a new born, I literally got them done at the hospital where I was born like the next day. It a cultural thing. I was born in Colombia and most people like literally everyone I know got theirs as new born babies. But now I live in the U.S and most people got theirs after they were like 7, so don’t judge it just the culture.💀

What? This is teribile!

Back in the 70’s we used needle and thread, and held ice cubes for a couple of minutes to numb the earlobe first!! It is jarring to see their little faces in pain and the body shivering right after!! Ice cubes are the poor man’s numbing cream, so no excuse to cause so much pain, also every day for weeks you have to clean with alcohol and twist the earring/thread so a scab doesn’t form!

They should have not peered her ears at that age

Im mexican and they did mine at this age a little younger posibly but i dont remember and i didnt cry alot, i just got another ear peercing last week im 16 btw

For those who are saying it's wrong and cruel.....In Hinduism atleast where I live it's a tradition in both boys and girls and it's done in very early age within 6 months after birth....

I got mine done at 4 months and it never closes! Mainly because it’s culture and less of a chance for a baby to play with it than a young child or teenager. In turn, less chances of infection.
