​@@danielhua8964 I will keep this as vague as possible. Myla is a friendly npc that can be seen happily singing despite not remembering the words to a song. Once you beat certain bosses, she gets less friendly, and eventually turns into another hostile enemy. Killing her makes her gone from that save file forever

I always found simple combat to be one of Hollow Knight's biggest strengths. At least personally, I prefer to focus on movement than trying to pull off crazy attacks with like 10 bajillion different buttons

I also like how simple the combat is. 3 abilities using the same button and mana system, 3 cool things to do with the nail, 3 cool movements, and... thats it! I rate the combat system 33/3

I usually kill them as fast as I see them so they can’t swarm me

I did the same, just… not early. Kingdom’s Edge Hornet. Just got back to the game and I am in an unimaginable amount of pain with this goddamn boss.

Tip : Don't feel ashamed of changing your charms when facing different bosses. It's not cheating. This also applies when you're exploring more to unlock your full potential (Mask shard, vessel fragment, nail upgrade, shade spell)

Me with terraria, it's my favorite game of all time, but the early game before you get 400 hp can get boring

The trial of the fool...makes the last one....HELL

#4: don’t get any of the dreamers until you get monarch wings, the starting crossroads area becomes infected and most shortcuts are cut off, so be careful!

Bonus Tip:You can swing upwards and downwards in mid air. Swing downwards is called pogo and give you a propel in air . . . . I didn't know about this till I reached fungal wastes after defeating Hornet

As someone who beat the radiance on their first playthrough, dying hundreds of times is an understatement

"Mommy look it is that one enemy from hollow knight with the glowing orange butt!" "Just keep walking Jimmy..."

My friend died to a vengefly in the tutorial and said, “I don’t really like the movement of it” (it being the game)

4. DO NOT GO INTO CRYSTAL PEAKS WITHOUT A LANTERN. YOU’LL BE STUCK THERE FOR A WHILE UNTIL YOU GET CRYSTAL HEART.

Those fuckin flying 3 shot bugs have killed my Collusm of Fools run so many times They are a DISEASE that I can't get rid of

Counter attack: only approach the aspids in the colosseum, remember exactly where they spawn and with nail master glory shred him before he hits two secs of existence

The compat is very very simple ... everything in the game is made simple but they make the best out of these simple mechanisms the milk every single drop that they can and the results arw simply phenomenal

I started my first playthrough about a year ago, when I got to Hornet's fight I got discouraged because it was so difficult for me About a month ago I restarted my playthrough and finally beat Hornet and now I'm literally obsessed with this fucking masterpiece

My friends did the first two. They don't like the game even tho they didn't even get to greenpath.

Another mistake is using mark of pride or longnail, once you start using them you never take them off

The way I got through it all was mainly by standing around, starting at my map. I didn't look up a walkthrough until I got completely lost after Crystal Peaks. Once I found where I needed to go, I went from mad that I gave up moments before getting Crystal Dash to amazement to the amount of areas that opened up to me

I just got this game and the combat is so fun especially after just killing hornet after like 20 tries 😢

"Don't fight with Primal Aspids" Colosseum of Fools: Bonjour

getting good at the swiping down attack is a good skill i think. Comes in handy with some bosses as you can get a hop when you use it and hit it extra times.

Thus was the first game that really made me try at that point I had only played a couple games and I was immediately hooked.

I got discouraged cause i couldn't defeat broken vessel but at the end i did it and now i have all the upgrades other than desolet dives upgrade

i did the same gave it up in 2020 after unlocking city of tears and now in 2023 im almost at 112%

On my first playthrough, when I finally had gotten accustomed to the game, Zote gave me PTSD with that ridiculous get-up, and yes colosseum of fools, with those primal aspids were a nightmare

i literally 20 minutes ago lost my 124 hr steel soul run to one of those FLYING FUCKS

Primal aspid is Like a bully to me that thing haunts meee

Actually made the first mistake number one when I first got the game and then I downloaded it like 5 years and I only just got to the abyss

Bro gave me PTSD with the last one...

The first time I played I did everything I could before unlocking mantis claw - getting the lantern, going through crystal peaks to get dream nail, crushing every boss I could find… because I didn’t know to down pogo on mushrooms. Don’t be afraid to look online if you’re stuck

The thing about primal aspids is they are extremely easy to beat… when they are by themselves but you’re always on a platform with some other low level creatures below it and you’re in a rush and it just throws you off every time

The guys at kingdoms edge are actually really good for farming geo in Early game (once you have vengeful spirit) and late game for a quick amount of geo

Totally agreed with the 3rd one, it always gets me no matter what I do.

I would say the biggest thing I would say to learn as a beginner is down poking shouldn’t be slept on and also don’t be afraid to chang your build .

Make sure to look for Cornifer when you arrive to a new place because you’ll probably die and if you’ve went to deep into the map, you’ll struggle hard to find your shade, especially in Deepnest

I swear they have aim bot as it looks like one of the acid balls ain't gonna hit but It hits from 15 miles away when I'm healing

The third one is relatable, I'm on my first playthrough and it is currently my third most hated enemy, behind soul tyrant and failed champion

The primal adpids already daminged me mentally and emotionally

About #1, I was about to drop this game because I was stuck at the elder Baldur in the Ancestral Mound (I know, skill issue), but I'm glad I pushed on and now I'm at the end of the 4th pantheon I'm so happy I didn't give up

Listening to the 57 precepts of Zote in Hallownest Vocalized was one of my biggest mistakes.

When I started playing this game, I actually decided to play what it was inspired by, I mean Castlevania 1-4 and bloodlines.

Great advice. When I first played this game, I didn’t give it a chance and I didn’t like it. Months later I decided to give it another go, and I’m so glad I did, otherwise I would have missed out on a masterpiece. It’s now one of my favorite games of all time

the last lesson is the most important......... it will destroy your ego and you will try to fight him just dodging the attack and kill using normal attack, but you need accept that he is.... he is just OP
