Actually when the episode was released everybody was talking about endeavor being powerful, strong and stuff but no-one talked about how hawks saved more than 100 people. I'm happy now, after seeing the comments.

iivyyyl he asked twice to co-operate and let himself be taken but twice didn't want to go, hawks tried talking to him multiple times about it during the time they were in the room before dabi showed up but twice started to attack, hawks killed him while he was getting away because he couldn't let a dangerous villain like that just go. hawks stated before that twice was the enemy they had to worry about the most because of how dangerous sad mans parade is, and hawks was left with no choice then. he could either kill twice or let him leave, if twice left he would regroup with the others and kill so many heroes with sad mans parade, and all the investigation hawks did would have been for nothing, as well as his his wings would've just burned up in vain. for these reasons understand and support his decision

as someone who read the manga i don't get why people hate hawks now ? it was his job and he had no choice left, he made it clear that he didn't want to do it but that he prioritized his job and i admire that. i don't want to say too much other than that because i'll spoil something but yeah, it was painful to read but i agree with his decision. i also feel like if any other hero (all might, aizawa, etc.) did what hawks did, they wouldn't be getting any hate so why hate on bird boy just because

True, I am currently not that far into the manga yet (I'm still at the Class 1A and Class 1B part) but I have to agree with you. Hawks had no choice but to do this job. Yeah I was pretty sad of what happened tho but still, that doesn’t mean he needs to get hated for what he had to do. Like I said before, He basically had no choice (I didn't see it in the manga yet but watched a vid of a youtuber explaining someone dying much later in BNHA)

This is the content I am here on KZread for.

I immediately started to love Hawks when I first saw him in one of the last episode of season 4. I just loved his personality, design and all that. He was a very unique character to me. He didn’t have that typical dream of “protecting people” or “saving lives” to be a hero, he just does it for the hell of it. I don’t get why some people hate him now for what he did in the manga. Yes, I was sad and heartbroken but he had to do it, it was apart of his job. If he let the them escape, that would basically make the heroes lose their chance in winning the battle and cause innocent lives to be harmed or killed. Everyone has to do something they don’t want to do for the sake of others. That’s what Hawks did. He did that to ensure that the heroes would win and no innocent lives were lost. Just because he killed your favorite character (spoiler) doesn’t mean you have to start hating him already. He basically showed remorse of what he did. He isn’t a cold-blooded killer

Bro sammeee like I used to like bakugou but my tastes changed so I liked Inasa along Shouto but screen time so I was losing interest then when I tried binging the manga one last time then Hawks got literally introduced (I remember that his sole silhouette was the thing I stanned and then I finally saw him in all his 2d glory and I was like BLESS)

Hawks really is the number 1 support hero out there. He may not have the raw power to fight the biggest threats, but his flexibility, multi tasking skills, and utility makes protecting the innocent around him so much easier.

Hawks comes off as arrogant and boisterous, but actually he's really intelligent and deep down has a good heart. He just wants people to feel safe and he wants a world where heroes don't always have to risk their lives and have more free time. It seems like he purposely provokes people to try and get at what's beneath the surface, get them to say their true feelings. He eggs them on as a way of encouraging and bringing out the best in them. I love trickster types like Hawks and it helps that he's easy on the eyes too lol.
