Perfume last longer in your hair because your hair produces natural oil. Same as most EDP last longer than EDT’s because of the higher concentration of perfume oil... 😉

Never heard the hairbrush tip before Demi! Nice! Also, so glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoys layering. I actually refer to it as stacking, although blending is probably the most apt description. Some helpful things I've discovered - frags generally layer well for me if: one smells similar to the other in the mid-to-base, both fragrances share a single prominent mid or bass note, both are citrus fragrances, or one adds a prominent note that the other is missing (especially for simpler scents like from Serge Lutens or Atelier Cologne). Simple gourmands or very subtle frags are usually the easiest to layer. Frags generally DON'T layer well for me if: one is not exactly to my liking (layering won't mask the unpleasant notes), both are in distinct families/groups (like chypre and gourmand or leathers and aquatics), both have a prominent mid note that clashes (according to your tastes), or both are very complex, especially in the base. I also have more specific rules for notes (like musks and woods), but those are just some of the basics. It's just fun to experiment!!

Would love to see some “Dupes” videos. I’ve seen this with makeup and although I know it’s not as easy to find lesser expensive duplicates that smell really similar to some of the more expensive perfumes, it would be great to find some that are comparative. For example, I absolutely love Delina but would love to find a less expensive option that would be comparable. It would be great for those who love the niche fragrances but just can’t justify the large price tag, depending upon life’s circumstances. Thanks for your consideration and for sharing your expertise! :)

Man, I’m just starting out and this can be overwhelming! I’ll have to take it slowly😂😂 I love fragrances. I think I maybe getting a bit obsessed actually! Great ideas though! My collection is still very small, only 11 designer fragrances but several bottles of bath and body works.

I don’t layer - as in one fragrance sprayed on top of another . However , I will spray a fragrance on one part of my body and a different fragrance that compliments the first on another part of my body .

I actually buy patchouli essential oil and mix it with avocado oil, and then smooth that on myself a little before applying certain wintery scents. It actually lasts! Lemongrass in the summer does too. Many essential oils will evaporate quickly, but basenotes can stay for days.

I spray a gourmand fragrance, mostly tonka imperiale or feve delicieuse to my brief. This is my life changing hack.

Love to layer fragrances also put it in my hair for same reasons, never tried using hair brush to apply it so will have to try this soon :) like to also apply two Frags in different locations to layer the sillage in the air, or like eating a good dish a bite from one ingredient taste different then another but your enjoying them both at the same time,

Layering fascinates me. Lately I have been thinking about the concept of layering fragrances that smell really good on the skin in areas that will be sniffed and put really good projecting fragrance in areas that really won't be sniffed but could push it out.

Hi Demi, I'm loving your videos ! I'd highly appreciate though you'd put in the description box the perfume names you mention because with your lovely accent it's litterally chinese for me. Keep up the good work girl, you're rocking ⚘

I thought I was a perfume-aholic until more than 50% of the perfumes you’ve mentioned I’ve not ever seen or heard about. You are def a serious perfume lover! Have you tried any of the Elizabeth and James Nirvana scents? Or clean makes sets designed to be layered together have you used any of them?

What’s happenin Dem.Brilliant video as always fam.Very creative. Some nice blends as well Dem.Some blends that I enjoy from my collection is mixing Memo Paris’s African leather with Etat Libre D’ Orange’s Une Amourette, that one is very nice.I also enjoy a blast of Tom Ford’s Oud Wood to each wrist, and a Duro blast to the neck and back of the neck...so nice.Dior’s Bois D’ Argent mixed with Diptyque’s Tam Dao edp is another banger I enjoy.Molecule 01 or Escentric 01 mixed with Xerjoff’s Nio is another really nice one.Molecule 01 layered with Le Labo’s bergamot 22 was SOLID for me as well :) Rocked That mix while I was in Colombia 🇨🇴🇨🇴 last summer for a week. The ladies were loving it 😉😉 keep up the great work Dem,love your content.P.S. I was watching the Australian open last couple of weeks,I thought of you :) Peace & Blessings

Good video Demi. You did one video outdoors which I thought was a fantastic move but then you’ve not done one since then. I think you are doing soo well with your channel and I’d like to see you really stand out by switching it up sometimes with outdoor public engagement videos.
