3 Lies Your Kids Want To Believe (2 Corinthians

Dr. Frank Turek shares the significance of standing up for Christian beliefs in the public square, the need to equip young people with the tools to defend their faith, and the use of logic to identify false claims-particularly in the context of relativism and postmodernism.

It is true only for anyone who only thinks about today. If you really live for yourself you want to make yourself as happy as possible and that make you think about the future. And since part of my happiness is that i have a happy marriage that means that to be happy now and in the future I have to take care of that marriage there fore I have to take care of my wife. As if she feel seriously sick even if it will be incurable I think i will choose to take care of her because otherwise I think I will become much unhappier thinking about myself as a 'bad' person.

@@HonrbleMentionDear Friend, is your question sarcastic or sardonic, or was/is it simply rhetorical? I am not dire of “where you are coming from” or if you were/are really asking that question seeking an honest, legitimate answer. I can “attempt” to answer your question but i will word my response as if you meant it as a legitimate answer. But if your heart is already made of stone then you will not even consider my answer. In that case hopefully some other reader might benefit from my poor/meagre attempt at answering answering you might thereby nevertheless benefit someone else The CHRIST who was preexistent along with The FATHER and The HOLYSPIRIT was/is/always will be 100 percent GOD. And by being born of the Virgin Mary/The Theotokos (The Mother of JESUS The CHRIST: conceived in her womb by the HOLYSPIRIT who proceedeth from The FATHER was was told in the Old Testament/TaBaKh scriptures, was simultaneously 100% True GOD of True GOD, while also being 100% True Man of Thru Man) and was (as foretold in Micah) born in the fullness of time in Bethlehem was a man like us in all ways except sin. And as JESUS YESHUA lived a perfect life without sin and although sinless snd innocent suffered under Pontius Pilate and under Herod and under the corrupt leaders of the Sanhedrin, was tortured and then crucified on a cross of wood (although HE made the hill on which it stood) and died. His sacrificial death as our kaporah (Our perfect spotless Passover Lamb equivalent) on the cross (our sinless substitutionary atonement for our sins incurred on our human race by the sin of our mother Eve and father Adam. All of this was foretold 750 tears Before His birth as is related in the Book of Isaiah Chapter 52:13-53, and also in Psalm 22 written by King David almost 1,000 years before His crucifixion. And He then was killed and by His death we are healed. But He arose from the dead after three nights and three days in fulfilment of The Scriptures [that is the 22 scrolls = 39 books of the TaNaKH = “Old Testament” as the New Testament was yet to be written. He rose from the Dead on Resurrection Sunday appeared to Mary Magdalene and ascended to the Right Hand of The FATHER and immediately returned to earth where HE appeared to those in the Upper Room Eastern evening having returned to Jerusalem after appearing yo Cleopas and his companion to whom HE gave a Bible study whilst walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus and then revealed His true identity at the dining table at the house of Cleopas in the breaking of the Bread. Then following that event returned to Jerusalem to the Upper Room where HE appeared to ten of the apostles and yo the women and yo the disciples as well as to Cleopas and his companion. Then HE remained on earth for a total of 40 days until HE ascended into Heaven where HE sits at the Right Hand of The FATHER and us coming back to earth at the End of Days to Judge the Living and the Dead alter after defeating ha satan and casting him to Tartarus. And there shall be a new heaven and a new earth for the first will have passed away. Your questions will be answered in accordance to the background of this poorly worded (non proofed) response. (23:55) _Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres._ (1 Corinthians 13) _You don't protect people when you're approving of the evil they're doing you're doing the opposite_ -Dr. Frank Turek _A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another_ (John 13) _Love for us means sacrifice. It doesn't mean approval. Do you know when we fail to say what we know to be true because we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings we're not really loving people; we're enabling them to do evil. A lot of times we won't tell them the truth because we don't want them mad at us. We do that because we want to take the easy way. I have watched many of Dr. Turek's videos here on KZread, where he answers the questions students ask. I'm glad I'm one of the two out of 100 who go to church. I don't think my father ever went to church while I was a child. He got involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses when I was about 6 years old. It was a major cause of my parent's divorce. 10 years later, my father preached at me nearly every day using their literature. He was all messed up with a mish-mash of Catholicism and the Watchtower Society "theology" along with diagnosed schizophrenia. The ONLY thing that saved me was Jesus.

Excellent message! Another way to respond to the idea that we all have our own truth is to point out that if God really does exist, then under this theory God must have His own truth just like we all have our own truth. It then follows that unless our own truth PERFECTLY matches God's Truth, then we are incompatible with God (because of the scripture, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?"). Such incompatibility with God is the bad news since it leads to our deaths, but the good news is that we can be reconciled to God by adopting God's Truth as our own truth, just like Jesus did through His example of obedience ("Let not my will be done, but Yours"). Adopting God's value system as our own is the real key to salvation: "For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3) I agree that becoming a disciple of Christ (who obeys the Father) is the next logical step after we first simply "believe" that Jesus is our Messiah: for His sheep hear His voice, and follow Him.

This is one of the most helpful messages I have heard. Something I will send to the youth in my church. I only wish the politics will be left out of such messages. It sours the experience for me.

Dr. Frank Turek said at minute 52:01 he said that an impacted event is the reason the disciples went from one way of thinking to another. I do agree that maybe that is why they may remember where they were, but we also see that after all the times before the Holy Spirit comes to them in the day of Pentecost they still continue to hide; even after Jesus ascension.

Very good Sermon, you do receive your identity and it is receive spiritually You cannot unknow an event . That's why you cannot be a believer. You have to be a receiver. You must be born again. It doesn't matter what college. You have received power. And you cannot step back into The lie

I think you need to do a big sermon on the number to love is approval because that is I do believe one of the biggest contradictions that is going on right now in our society. I would love to see a sermon or a video on all the information on this so I can share it everywhere.

"if love required approval God couldnt love us" --That's well stated. I see these ppl arguing that "love is love" & "Christ loves sinners", but they don't know what love is & that's tragic.

it's nice to hear know these to answer them but we also have to make sure sure we deal with the root cause .. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training ( PRACTIVE WHAT WE PREACH) and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

One of the hardest things is that many only think about it as I have my truth. So when you try to apply logic and show that defeats itself as a general truth, they really don't get it or see it that way. They just say, yeah it's my truth. As if saying that cannot be generally true substantiates their statement. But being comfortable with contradictions is part of modern anti-christian philosophy.

I thought I lost my daughter to the world’s ideas , but I’m consistently speaking God’s truth in love. She’s slowly softening her heart. Recently she had a need and thought it wasn’t going to come through. She felt so bad. God met her need at the very last moment, and her heart was lifted immediately. I reminded her in front of her best friend that God was there for her , and prayed a quick thank you to God in the car. When she was giving me a hug before going to bed I whispered.. did you thank God, and she whispered back yes. I know it seems trivial , but hearing her say that gives me great hope. I Thank The Lord Almighty. A year ago she would tell me she hated that I was a Christian. I’m not saying we’re totally there… but it takes love, persistence, consistency, and long suffering . Pray , give love, and don’t accept anything but the truth with quiet strength. They’re watching us. If we accept the sky is green and the grass is blue we’ll lose.

The late Great author David Hunt said: Picked out of 100 pagan idols of Babylon known as the Moon 🌙 Idol, Allah is not the true Triune God of the Bible. Mohammed said Allah told him. “I am no Father and I have no Son” it’s written around the upper outside on “Dome of the Rock” mosque 🕌 in Jerusalem. Christ is my Savior how about you🙏🏻

“The Sabbath was made for man”. Mark 2:27 You have so much “Truth” to share. Thank you for that. But the Sabbath was not changed by Jesus, because God (Jesus) never changes. Malachi 3:6 And the Sabbath is the rest day of Creation week by God Himself.

7:14 This is exactly what the lgbtq and most of us are doing, living and basing off their life from how they feel, instead of who they are and what they stand for, and living, sharing our life with love.
