    Holy shit. You actually pointed out all my flaws as intermediate producer. Overdoing simple things, using all the tricks I've learned. Good technical knowledge, but don't really know when to use what. This is a great way to learn, by showing what mistakes we usually make.

    This was fantastic! I've seen other versions of this kind of video, but they really just put the track in front of you and say "this is garbage" without really explaining why the thought process behind the creative decisions that led up to the track were bad. Here you actually kind of build up "this is a shortcut or short-sighted decision that leads to this bad decision, which results in this problem" then showcasing that problem by playing the track, which i appreciate because I can see myself in the bad track and I better understand why.

    a channel that goes in depth into the analysis of decision making? quality content! I know enough now about producing that the technical side of things is pretty understood (for the most part at least, XD), but channels that break things down and discuss thought processes and creative arrangements is the shit. good sir, have a sub!

    Amazing video once again! Wouldn't it be cool if you gave us, the viewers, a project with a few simple sounds and melodies and we try to make it into a good sounding track? Then you could take the beginners - intermediate - pro projects and break them down in the same way you did to this :)

    I really enjoy and find these tutorials helpful. I really love electronic music, but I feel overwhelmed with ideas, especially since a lot of what I do seems to involved my modular setup and various hardware synths. I like to do a lot of experimental stuff, but I am ready to start programming actually tracks and these videos help me focus and remember some things I know, and some things I didn't. Overall, your video tutorials are insightful and fun to watch. Thanks!

    These tips are very usefull! I barely use presets but I tend to make my "main synth" to heavy. Especially with detuned saw waves... I just need more space for the candy! Thanks a lot dude, you're a legend!
