Hey brother! Made it to cold lake! First time fishing here going for a Lake trout! Any vids or tips what lure or what hint of the lake I heard by an island and an inlet kinda. I'd totally buy a lure or two from you lol 😆 you jig about 40ft no down rigger?

@@subbassick there’s tons of videos on my channel with all sorts of tips and lure choices. I’d start 70-80ft right now and move up or down depending how you make out. You can use downrigger to great way to cover water and find spots

What type jigs are you using? And do you not use a steel leader?

It’s a new jig & swim bait from TC Moto. Worked wicked!! Nope never a steel leader for lake trout.

Good day for sure. What was the water temp? What temp do they seem to be more aggressive in up there?

I think it was around 52-53 where we were with the wind. It really depends usually when it hits 60-63 it will set up a thermocline which is usually good as well for fish out deeper. It can change day to day and season to season I just like to keep an eye on it as it can make a difference.

What lbs braid and line you running for those fish?
