Genesis 39:11 is completely overlooked. Joseph went into the house knowing there were no other men or workers of the house there. He was alone with Potiphar’s wife. Message: don’t put yourself in that situation thinking you can overcome the temptation! He did get out but with great consequence!

Good point my Brother ! But you have to understand Joseph situation he had not choice to be there in that place . It was his duty sadly he was a slave . .. but we can apply the same action he did he flee from temptation . A run 🏃 out of there before is to late

@@Im_A_miracle my point is he could have taken someone with him, spoken up about it, or not gone in at all by doing other work around the house. He was not forced to be alone with her. He didn’t purposefully find a way out of being alone with her. That is a big problem with men - married or not. If you see a sticky situation, pray about it and seek a way out. God will help you get out of temptation.

I do love the encouraging vibe of this comment, but like... Idk I don't think it's right for us to say stuff like "Your miracle is on the way" when we ultimately don't know. We ultimately aren't God and don't have that say of whether or not a miracle is coming our way. I think that's gonna leave a lot of people disappointed in the end. Nonetheless have a good day.

As a Catholic, I find your videos refreshing, I am a retired Navy Vet, I live in Tampa, single, never married (I am still trying to figure that out), temptation sucks. I know that God watches over me daily and answers my prayers, for me, I pray every day that God will bring someone special into my life because when I am alone that is when I am the weakest, I know that God is with me, I just yearn to have a GF that would turn into something more. I will continue to pray and hopefully it will happen.

"No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Like Pastor Craig said, push that line further back than the one at the edge, then PRAY, PRAY, & PRAY some more.

Pastor Craig I honestly believe listening to the word of god through you saved my life. God gave you an amazing ability to deliver his message.

Pastor is so so right about our tendency to overestimate how strong we are at resisting sin / temptation. No amount of willpower or relying on your own strength will work. We are not strong enough to do it consistently. Only the power of God can! Striving to live by the example of Jesus and walk in wisdom regarding temptation. If the enemy uses strategy on believers, we should also live strategically 🙏🏾 God bless you all

Amen, what a Perfectly timed sermon. Just today this morning I woke up with the words “better is a good name than riches” in my mind, I know it’s no coincidence and that God used KZread to recommend me this video, I thank Jesus for his Faithfulness. He is Good, He is Good. Amen. Now I have started draw lines to keep me out of struggles. I thank Jesus that although I am not worthy, He by grace in faith am I Saved.

Lord, eliminate temptation. Thank GOD for new life. Prepare the way for him. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But if you are, He will provide a way out for you so you can endure it. Lord, allow him the clear eyes to see. The quiet ears to hear. No temptation has overtaken You. We bring our burdens to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
