Do you know if it is possible to prevent from others connecting to the speaker ? And only one device connected to it ?

Low frequency mode I just to turn off the bass if it starts to annoy you or at night in bed it's not harmful to the device! Xtreame 3 firmware is vol+ and vol- for the read out and low fq is Bluetooth and vol - but honestly why you would use it on a daily basis is beyond me it just makes it sound like an old sony speaker!

Nice I notice playing without bass messes it up makes it less loud everytime u use it selling for £120

Its better to use low frequency When your playing bass boosted music But not advisable becoz it can damage your woofers

Ive got the xtreme 2 squad. Since the day it came out ive used low frequency modes and nothing went wrong. Only a bad battery

It does not mean that any time you use it, your device will be affected. It can be harmful when you listen music very loudly. In normal mode, as explained in the video, the limiter is active and it does not let the speaker to be defectively loud. But in low frequency mode, the limiter is not active and at some level there is probability that your speaker can be harmed. It is like a circuit breaker in electricity. I don't prefer to take this risk and I just want to warn JBL Xtreme users. Besides its very important side effects, some youtubers advice people to use it in low frequency mode without any warning. That's why I wanted people to learn this risk.

Would be good if you shut off the music when you are giving instructions. First secret, low frequency mode. Second secret, reset speaker, third secret, activate what? Different firmware- Nothing said about the Different firmware, some info on that would be useful

Hard reset your JBL Xtreme by below video, also in your cell phone's Bluetooth connection settings, remove (forget) JBL Xtreme 2 connection, close and re-open your cell phone, than try to re-connect your xtreme 2 to your cell phone and check it whether it works or not. My JBL xtreme 2 is not doing anything when I press Bluethoot and vol down buttons for more than 10 seconds. I have a problem, on low volume the speaker is going into some kind of sleep mode, so I thought that enabling/disabling LFM would help, but I can't do it.. Could anyone help me?

Y did they make it a function? And it sounds a lot better.

This is a very good bluetooth speaker. It won't create any problems for you in the near future as long as you good take care of it. I advice you to: 1-Not to use it in low frequency mode. 2-For its battery life, don't keep this speaker attached to electric with its charger. Charge it, than unplug it from the charger, use it until you get the red light on the battery indicator 3-Do not apply any changes depending on youtubers advice unless you are 100% sure. There are many videos on the internet that cause infollution. 4-Do not listen the music with very high capacity voice (95% or above) all the time.

I have this 1 and a half years. I listen to music with a lot of bass. (rap or trap). And the speaker is exactly like when i first used it. The bass is greate and remains the same. The volume is the same too. And the battery life is greate because i use it for 3 days and then it shows the red dot(low battery). It is greate but i used low freq only 10 times. But i use a bass boost app that makes the bass 5 times louder. Thats not good for the speaker i think but i like it(and it still is like a new one). Also yesterday i got outside with this and started rainning. It was wet but still ok. Remember it is Rain proof but you can't put it on water. (I AM TALKING ABOUT XTREME 1)

One of my tweeters ripped (the bouncing rubber on the sides) after playing it in this mode all night it’s makes them go crazy bouncy 😂

Sander if you have youre speaker on normal. You hear a dun dun sound when u max the volume out. Than it is in normal mode. But if u hear no dun dun than it is most likely in lfm

It is highly recommended that it is better to use the latest firmware everytime for every devices. You can update your firmware through your cellphone. Latest firmwares improve the performance of the item and fix some bugs.

Had the hardest time understanding him 😴 Subtitles would have been great!

I only use that mode for parties 😉 and it does get loud

Why not to use lfm? I use it all the time. It came with it on. It doesnt harm the speaker and it at least has some bass.

@@TechAbetSolutions yeah.... I kinda tried without and it got even louder. But then the bass isnt good at all. I prefer the lfm but the speaker isnt harmed yet. I have been using it for a year now and its been aleays on max or at least 75%

normal mode bass so bad on some normal people music, just for bass and high freq songs jbl is good

It didn't came with it turned on, it actually makes bass worse. Only low notes are played well, low, mid and upper bass. No weird bass boosted songs, try rebasses of songs and you'll see.

leant of 'low freq mode' after i updated firmware to 2.6.0. nope seams to not work. i fear the "bug fix" update removed it doh! wanted to see if it disables dynamic range compression for better quality at low levels where bass/xmax limit of drivers not reached.

Bunlar: 1-Low Frequency Mode (bluetooth tuşu ile ses düşürme tuşuna 10 saniye bastığınızda low frequency mod aktif oluyor): Bu modu insanlar kullanıyor ama tavsiye ettiğim bir özellik değil. Bu modda bluetooth hoparlörün daha fazla ses çıkartması için zorlanması söz konusu. Bir nevi hoparlörlerin zarar görmemesi için koyulan sigorta bypas ediliyor. Uzun süre bu modda yüksek sesle kullanırsanız hoparlörünüz zarar görebilir. 2-Soft Reset (basit reset): Bluetooth ve ses arttırma tuşuna 10 saniye basınca aktif olur. Aslında merak ettiğim hoparlörün sesini daha da yükseltebilmek için ne yapmak gerektiğini öğrenmekti. Sanırım bu sadece low frequency özelliğini açarak oluyor. Başka bir yöntemle yani zarar vermeyecek bir yöntemle sesini yükseltmemiz mümkün mü?

I wouldn’t use it I have on my old jbl xtreme and it messed it up all through low frequency mode is super fun because of the bass just don’t do it if u don’t want to ruin a expensive and extremely good speaker

It may have a problem with the power switch. It is better for you to take it to mechanics.

I was expecting the bass to sound better in now frequency mode, but it actually just boosts the highs more and lowers the bass, exact opposite. Unless it is now shipped with low frequency mode on from the factory. Mine came with firmware version 2.4.0 and there's no upgrade available at this time.

Mine has still 2.3 for the firmware and there is no upgrade available right now for regular users. I guess 2.4 is at the trial mode now. For cancelling the low frequency mode, you can hard reset (+ sign and play button for 10 seconds) your JBL to have normal mode.

my guess is it disables a high pass limit on bass and other filters. so if u send sub bass to it, it will play it. in normal mode it boosts bass but cuts and limits sub bass with tricks and reduces highs to better match loudness of lows.

Why do not use in this mode

Try to hard reset the speaker with the help of below video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nHeC0sOvltjFeMY.html If it does not work, than you should have mechanical problem. The reason may be: 1-You may used your JBL over powered and this may cause one of or both of your speakers to be blown. 2-There maybe loose contact problem inside of your JBL If you still have warranty send it to the JBL.

Mesela 20 senedir Amerika'da yaşayıp ciddi para kazanan ve çok akıcı konuşan bir iş adamı için adama bak 20 senedir Amerika'da çok kötü konuşuyor gibi eleştiriler yapıyor. Sanki zorundaymış gibi. Sanki adam orada doğdu büyüdü. Bu konu çok uzun ama kısaca yabancı dil konuşabilmek ile yabancı dilin köpeği olmak arasında fark olduğunu ve yabancıların Türk gibi konuşması gibi bizim de yabancılar gibi konuşmamıza gerek olmadığını düşünüyorum. 100%LFM is the full power for the woofers so the woofers are not realy damaged it's not a Problem for the woofers in the LFM

Because It deactivate the DSP protection so the speaker go full power without any protection and honestly it makes your JBL sound like a cheap Chinese speaker hahaha
