Thanks for the video, Boris. I've been watching videos from your channel in these last few days and I noticed I was not subscribed (and no bell), so I fixed it ;) I am trying to sell some excess to get me a TRX4 Defender and all these tips are keeping me company. I also have a TRX4 Sport and love it. I love how your channel is a bit more "stop complaining and get it together", with practical stuff (e.g. tape to keep the weight on the chassis) rather than "buy the fanciest CNC upgrade part to do it." You are a bit like my father, telling me to just get a move on and work with practicality. I hope you don't mind being an RC father figure to me eheh ;)

Awesome content. I learned a few things today. Im surprised you have not done the stock tire mod. Clipping the tread for more aggression. Its free and makes a good amount of difference until you upgrade tires and rims.

Raise the rock sliders, or make some that ride higher like I did. Trim the body all the way around. 2 easy and very cheap/free mods I see you have done but didn't mention.

a small note on tip 1. If you just drop the big bumpers and put the small bumpers upside down, it wil be inside your body and will gif it just a bit more support so your body has a little more support. angle of approach is not influenced by this.

I flipped the small one and mounted the big one back to it, and trimmed the trailer hitch off the back and I hardly get caught up now. Might remove the back though. Occasionally gets caught

Some other free mods to try: raise the shock collars all the way to the top. This lowers the truck and the center of gravity. Then take the shocks and remount them upside down. This puts the weight lower which is what you want. Enjoy !!

Some people have completely removed the spring and get great results. I'm gonna try it on my next day of serious crawling.

Definitely don’t just add weight on the chassis, that’s terrible advice You don’t want sprung weight…
