    A little too biased...Although I do like Danish design, there are other countries like Italy, France and Japan that have fine craftsmanship and design as well as the USA w its Quaker/Shaker quality and simplicity to name a few.

    It's called timeless design - purest form of design has no fashion or cultural form to it. Danish design can be at home in a Japanese house or Italian or 300 years from now in Mars. This is 'the' reason why Danish design is sought after.

    @@jlm1567 Correct. Only the Japanese come close. Italian, French and US designs are not seamless and timeless, they occupy a specific category which intrinsically harkens back to another time and feel dated.
