Hello my dude, I'm a college freshman and I've been playing COC since I was in middle school but stopped after just 1 and a half years at TH8. Now that I'm in college my schedule has become super strict but I noticed that I've always found myself in situations where I get to pull out my phone at random intervals in the day so I was appreciative to start getting into the game again. Needless to say, I've forgotten everything. So for the past week, I've been watching your old TH8 video in incognito(really do not want to be bombarded with COC videos recommendations) and I realized that your channel has the best kind of commentary, the kind where there's no clickbait, no pandering to the audience and most importantly no insulting the audience's intelligence, which is super duper nice of you! So I entered my main youtube account just to say this, Thank you for what you do and I hope you'd continue to teach more resurging old COC players like me. It's truly a goldmine :)

If you'd like, I could create a new youtube account to subscribe to someone out of pity but I think that you already know how wrong that is. For now, I'll enjoy his content in incognito. @@skyshay001 same with me, i was playing other game but now i can't. The other game force you to play half hour each match or you must go out but it really stop your progress while coc is best to play if you sometimes need to go out in random time

Don't forget the Builder Base. You can earn a lot of gems there just from clearing obstacles alone. The Gem Mine is, well, also useful, but on my experience I gain more gems from obstacles than on clicking on the Gem Mine.

@@DRKongo-vi8ok Yes. But on average you get like 2-3 gems per day, compared to clearing obstacles where you can get more just by sacrificing some builder hall elixir.

on max gem mine, you get 29-30 gems per week, which is much greater than collecting from obstacles.

Spend 0 gems before 5 builders. Only buy training potions from trader after that. Stack as many gems as you can so when you get high level you can quick donate.

after 5th builder i would suggest buying book of heroes, it's pretty good value (7 days for 500 gems)

Another thing, don't forget some people gem donate to push for a role in certain clans, I think that's another thing to avoid.

You can sell some of your magic items that you dont need like say you have a power potion and you have maxed troops of the troops you use you can sell that power potion and get 10gems

I got to masters when I was th8 using loons you can do it on th7 too but it's a bit harder because you need max troops in the cc on every attack either way you're definitely gonna have a 5th builder before maxing th8

I am on th8 with 2600+ trophies but still having 1322 gems 🥺🥺

I gem the cheapest thing to complete when I have max loot and no builders. It hurts, but it also means I was super successful in my farming. I also really like the training, research, and builder potions.

If you grinding much every day, i calculated that instead buying training and research potion, gems are best value to book of fighting and book of spell when it comes to 8+day upgrade time

Yeah, I don't click those gem buttons... I'm completely F2P, have near 4000 gems and all 5 builders. I recommend that you upgrade your gem mine and clock tower. The reason I say that you should upgrade them quickly is because a high level gem mine can get you 4 gems per day. A clock tower can boost the production rate tremendously.

I put an upgrade and don't look at the timer bec that will surely get me to pay gems. But when there's is 10 minutes I will probably waste 10 gems 😂

Sometimes I spend 1 gem when the upgrade timer is at 5 minutes, I will rarely spend 10-20 gems on a speedup. I'll just get them back from obstacles/gem mine anyway.

I'm a max 11 and have 10k(i havnt gone to champion yet either😂) , i just wait the upgrades and dont find anything valuable to spent gems on other than a little bit of hero books, although i do gem donate sometimes

Guys i have a tip for you if you need that 4th builder first get to TH 4 to get builder base second finish the BB tutorial and max upgrade everything third get a lot of trophies and dont upgrade your BH cause its easy to defeat bases at BH 2-3-4 and if you are struggling at BH 2 cause the enemies are smarter sometimes if you have 500-1000 trophies now upgrade your BH 2 to BH 3 and max your BH 3 base and grind for trophies until 1500-3000 and if your struggling at around 2000-2500 trophies upgrade your BH 3 to BH 4 and upgrade it to all max and dont upgrade to BH 5 just grind the trophies until 3000 then you can stop grinding the BB trophies now cause the max limit for achievements in trophies in BB is 3000 and gives you 1000 gems and 1000 trophies gives you 100 gens and 200 gives 10-20(i think) i hope this helps

If you need a lot of geems you ned to free up space in the bulder base ,put your resourcse to one side and free up space and a lot of three ,bush.... will grow and you collect them and walaaa.

Push to Champions league with th 7 troops to get the 2000 gems. takes about 4 days straight while boosting with gems ive saved. So annoying when you lose.

I got my 3rd builder by just saving starting from the 250 gems then the 4th, I got it easily. I just saved my gems to 555 and then I pushed my trophies to 1250 then in the achievement you get 450 gems then the 5th builder, I got it by saving gems like pretending like its never there. I hope it helps

To get gems make your base as compact as possible and. More obstacles grow and more gems you get

Meanwhile, I'm just sitting here as a F2P player with 5 builders and over 7300 gems, trying to save up as many gems as possible to flex on my friends. The main reason I play this game is for the bragging rights, after all. Also, I rushed to BH9 for the gem mine but have shifted my focus to unlocking OTTO so I can have a second builder in the builder base. I will need TH10 for the first part, but that will be easy since I'm sitting on so many CWL medals, and I will do that one last. Right now, I'm getting my Cannon Cart maxed out, just 1 more upgrade left to go! As for Gold, I'm saving up to get my Multi Mortar to level 8 in preparation for Gearing Up the home village mortar. My Mega Tesla is already maxed out. After the Multi Mortar, I will focus on the Clock Tower and then the other defenses. After the Cannon Cart, I will upgrade the Battle Machine which will be a long grind, so wish me luck! Once it is at level 30, then, and only then will I finally max out my Gem Mine, the sole reason I rushed to begin with. Then, troops! I'll just do cheapest first so that I will always have something going on. All that while I continue to upgrade and improve my home village. I will have that mortar Geared Up in no time! (And not because I gemmed it, lol! Will continue saving up)

@@adityaxt 2 years late, but I just cleared obstacles, collected the gem mine, the usual. I took a break for a while, got back into it recently. I'm at 8.6k now. I rarely spend small amounts of gems on upgrades/trader (20-30 gems here and there is a splurge). Edit: I forgot I even made this comment 2 years ago lol

ive collected 6600+ gems just by completing achievements and clearing obstacles

I am starting to like you more than klaus

I would say the biggest thing is, DO NOT SPEND GEMS ON BUYING RESOURCES (gold, elixir & dark elixir)

trophy pushing really helped me lol. i used to be a th6 with only 2 builders. now i’m a maxed th7 with 5 builders after reaching champion league (currently in champ 1 trying to push to titan)

I know that you can get a lot of gems my achievements but most of the gem achievements are more of th 10 and above
